Different Suppositories

There was a thread about casting one's own suppositories by melting Fleet's and then using a rubber glove as a mold. I've done that, in the past, with really no more benefit derived than just inserting multiple suppositories in the original configuration. I have also tried using glycerin, in its natural state (liquid) and adding gelatin. Had some limited success, but tough to administer (they didn't hang together too well). It's the stearate in the Fleet suppositories that allow the glycerine to solidify, so I postulated that there is probably more than enough stearate to handle a larger volume of glycerin and have the side benefit of lowering the melting point. I melted down some Fleet's and added some liquid glycerin to increase the volume, and then poured this into a rubber glove stretched over the mouth of a glass. Put the glass in the refrigerator for about 40 minutes and the result was beautifully smooth, large suppositories that were more gelatinous then the original - more slippery also. Tried one this AM and it was amazing. Held for one hour, it totally liquified and cleaned me out as well as a small volume enema. Just thought I'd share.

Is that simply a remedy for constipation? i would guess it wouldn't feel anywhere near as good as a liquid enema? or maybe it's the feeling of urgency that you're going for? just wondering, as this is a whole new world for me. i'm very new to enema and my only experience so far is a warm water/mild soap enema. for me, the sensation of being warm and full and holding it there as long as possible was glorious. i'm just not sure what the draw is to using suppositories instead?

😮 ive used both of those ginny and i agree.if you take dulcolax rectally, it makes you move your bowels whether you want to or not once it absorbs in your rectum. dont use those too much, or you'll be dependant on using them and will have to keep using them to have a bm.

It's not necessarily more potent, but an interesting suppository is the CEO 2 soppository. I don't have the web address, but a google search of "CEO 2" should get you to the site.

I tried them several years ago and found that if I was using one just for fun, the suppository resulted in a couple iof good farts but nothing else. On the other hand, if I "needed" it the results were fairly spectacular. These suppositories are about double the size of a glycerin or Dulcolax suppository. They work by generating CO2 gas as they disolve and result in a good bowel movement.

One thing that might be either an advantage or disadvantage depending on your point of view was that after they worked, there were no "seconds" from them. Once they worked, they were done. Because of that, they were great for travel.

Magic bullet is the same drug as dulcolax suppositories in the same dose. The difference is the base is water soluble instead of vegetable oil. In otherwords it doesn't melt, it dissolves, and does so much more rapidly than hydrogenated vegetable oil suppositories do.

So two things happen, the bisacodyl active ingredient is released more rapidly, and with no oil base, it come into direct contact with the colonic mucosa more rapidly.

The result is that these suppositories produce 'results' much quickly than hydrogenated vegetable oil based suppositories.

There have been production problems with the product of late, and I suspect that is why they aren't giving samples away any longer.

This is my first post, so here goes...

Recently, my gastroenterologist gave me a free sample of the Magic Bullet. I've used regular bisacodyl suppositories for about 10 years now. They work for me in about a hour or so. I tried the Magic Bullet this weekend after several days of not going. Just for fun I kept a log:

Last bowel movement over 72 hours ago. Lying on couch, t-shirt, boxers and jeans.

T=0: Inserted suppository with index finger 2 inches into rectum, on left side, Sim’s position, Surgilube lubricant.

T=15 sec: Burning sensation in rectum and anus. Underwear and pants pulled back up.

T=1 min: Burning sensation subsides somewhat.

T=3 min: Beginnings of a cramp felt.

T=5 min: Feels something (liquid) burning just inside anus. Tighten butt cheeks.

T=10 min: Mild cramps, but burning sensation inside anus severe. Clamp cheeks tight by straightening legs and crossing them.

T=15 min: Cramps come in waves, ~30 sec. apart, some are severe.

T=20 min: Cramps spread to upper portions of colon, gurgling sounds in gut. Slight nausea. Constant pressure inside anus. Butt sore from clamping. Pressure from bladder as well.

T=30 min: Feels like having diarrhea and needing to go in the worst way. Starting to sweat profusely. A wave of extremely strong cramps hits. Use hand to hold butt cheeks together.

T=35 min: Waves of extremely strong cramps every 30 sec. or so. Feels like bowels and bladder about to burst.

T=36 min: Run to bathroom!

Aftermath: Undid pants and pulled down underwear fast as I could. Sat down, fart and liquified suppository came out immediately. This was followed by emptying of the bladder and grunting a straining to push out hard plug of dried up shit. Hard, dried up shit followed by progressively more semi-liquid. Waves of cramps, each followed by expulsion of more liquishit. Frequency of cramps decreased, as did amount of liquishit from each wave. On toilet for 20 minutes. Made two more trips to toilet (about 1 hour later, and 4 hours later). First time was more liquishit, second time was just mucus.

As you can see, they work much faster, and gave me much more thorough results then the regular type.

Sounds exactly like my experience with Magic Bullets, except there is no way that I can hold one in for 36 minutes. I am only good for 15 to 20 before it is going to all come out whether I am ready or not. With a regular bisacodyl suppository like Dulcolax, I have to wait about 35 to 45 minutes before I can go. Both are effective for treating stubborn constipation. The Magic Bullets are a little more aggressive and cause more bad cramps.

I'd like to ask british people a question. I've read to many people here referring to "Prep H" suppositories, but I think they are from USA, and my question is if this kind of suppositories are available in GB, do you know them?

And, are they so bigs?

I know I haven't been around much except back when I first joined. I occasionally use a Fleet enema to handle constipation, and have been doing so for a while. It works fine for me and is over quick.

When I was little my mother used Dulcolax suppositories on me for a period of time. I remember not wanting to get too far away from the bathroom 😜, and I also remember them working well a majority of the time.

Reading things here refreshed my memory, and after talking with a couple people via email/messaging, I decided to give a Dulcolax suppository a try the next time I was constipated.

Well that happened last night. I had bought a box of generic "Bisacodyl" suppositories. A great value really. It is a box of 16 for the same price as a box of 8 genuine Dulcolax, and it seems to use the same dose and ingredients.

Now I remember why it was such a big deal to be close to a bathroom! Once the suppository starts to work, it feels like your whole colon is moving! And not only that, it keeps working for a while even after you've "evacuated". Overall it wasn't a bad experience. It takes longer than a Fleet, but it didn't seem any more difficult or uncomfortable to go to the bathroom.

I've been a fan of Magic Bullet suppositories for several years now, using them strictly for erotic purposes. They are very fast and effective - fifteen minutes is usually my limit for retention. It's fun to have a retention contest with a partner. I also find that they tend to sensitize my rectum for subsequent play with toys and other objects.

I also use Dulcolax suppositories for constipation relief. Like you, I have had constipation problems all of my life, and a Dulcolax supp is a fast, predictable and discreet way to deal with it. They are not for the faint of heart. They cause a lot of cramps and urgency for me. And, they are like the gift that keeps on giving. Well after I am done evacuating, they keep causing painful contractions of my colon. Then, four or five hours later, I get a nasty, messy mucous discharge. Does that happen to you?

For me, they are usually more effective than a Fleet enema in terms of how much they get out of me.

A number of years back I had a lengthy phone conversation with a lady from OK or NE that used Dulcolax or the generic equivalent for stimulation. During that phone conversation she claimed she had inserted 5 suppositories and was seeming to be going through waves of euphoria from the sensation coupled to the topics of our phone conversation. Since I have experimented a number of times with Dulcolax using only a couple at the most, I find it hard to believe that someone can retain as many as 5 for any great length of time without blowing apart. I've often wondered if that that same lady is one that is a member and has posted on this board. I'd be real interested in chatting with her again. Anybody have any comments about using that many bisacodyl suppositories at once?

One of the things I find annoying about the bisacodyl type (but not the Magic Bullet) suppositories is the waxiness. Anyone else bothered by that?

It usually comes out in liquid form with your first fart after you've sat down, but solidifies as soon as it hits the water. I usually take them at work, where the toilets are powerful enough to flush away a baseball, but even then, you can see tiny white specks left over. When I take them at home, there are usually still some big chunks after the first flush. They're not completely gone even after I flush twice. It always makes me nervous that someone who comes over to my place and needs to use the bathroom will figure out where they come from. 😮

Wiping is also that much more difficult. Your butt feels greasy even after several good wipes. A good deal of oil (and probably fecal matter) stays behind, especially if you're hairy like I am, and by the end of the day, there's irritation between the cheeks.

Anyone have solutions to these problems? I switched to the Magic Bullet for a while, but they were murder on my hemorrhoids. I don't always have time for a good enema, unfortunately.

When my partner and I play, he craves having suppositories inserted by me. Before he comes into town, I melt glycerin and pour it into icetube molds, then put them in the freezer. This results in a solid, temperature stable, index finger-sized suppository.

After a slow and thorough anal/rectal exam, I slowly insert a suppository and once I'm sure it's properly placed, I tell him to put on his plastic pants. Sometimes we stay in the hotel room, sometimes we go out to lunch or to run errands. I love to watch his reactions as the suppos do their work. We are wondering if it is safe/advisable to use caffeine suppositories for recreational purposes. I know that Cafergot suppos are used for migraine relief. I don't get migraines, thank God, I just want to play with the suppos. Has anyone tried this or anything like it? If it is safe, where does one get such a thing?

DO NOT play with Cafergot suppositories. Besides, they are Rx.

The suppository is NOT only caffeine.

The ergotamine has many effects, very serious side effects and drug interactions. It constricts cranial blood vessels among numerous other things, which is why it is used in conjunction with caffeine for migranes.

Do a search for ergotamine. This is not a drug to play around with. If you want to play with caffeine, use No-Doz or coffee as a caffeine source.

When I was a kid, suppositories were very much in fashion in France for giving drugs to children. They are fast-acting, contrary to syrups there's no sugar so no tooth decay, and contrary to pills the child cannot choke on them.

Some popular kind were for throat aches - they contained eucalyptus extract, camphor and other related products, all very smelly. My mom loved them. I did not, because they burned the rectum slightly and, should you fart, you had some exceedingly smelly grease in your briefs. Fairly embarrassing.

Were they also popular in other countries?

Was thinking of what I could use to hold liquid glycerine in that would melt slowly with body temperature, releasing the glycerine, giving a sub (or me for that matter) a real desperate need to shit, possibly in a diaper while taking a walk, a distance from the safety of a toilet.

Looking around, I'd thought of butter, etc., then saw my bar of white chocolate. I'd already had a shit this morning, so thought I'd try the chocolate to see if it melted ok inside me and see how long it took, etc.

So rounded off a piece, inserted it, and carried on doing some housework. Five mins passed, then 10 mins. I was wondering what was happening. Then at just over 15 mins, I had an incredible need to shit, wasn't expecting that. I rushed to the toilet, and what came out was almost as though I'd had a small enema but without any of the afterburn that suppositories can give.

Now here is the question. Is there something in white chocolate that gives this effect? Or was it a one off mild squirts? I will wait till Sunday morning and try it again to see.

White chocolate is just cocoa butter -- the oil pressed out of the cocoa beans during processing to get chocolate. It's probably a pretty good option! And, it's great for your skin, so you'll have a nice soft rosebud 😁

Need to do this more, too many variables, though it does seem to work.

Another step will be how to hollow out the chocolate and fill with glycerine, and how to seal it in well enough, after.

It wasn't the white chocolate, which as someone said is mainly cocoa butter and sugar.

It was the glycerine that gave the urgent need to shit. Once the white chocolate melted enough to release the glycerine, it was the glycerine that quickly did its job. The sugar in the white chocolate doesn't draw enough water into the colon to cause an evacuation anywhere as quickly as the glycerine. The glycerine acts to draw water into the colon, but the rapidity of its action inside your suppository is purely due to its "irritational" factor caused by the extreme hygroscopic nature of the glycerine.
