Is it possible to get an orgasm only with the electric-stimulation? Or is this only for "higher" feelings during an orgasm?

I have done electrical sessions with women who have orgasmed just from the electricity. You must however experiment to find the sweet spot so to speak.

I first found e-stim to be amazingly relaxing. I would use a vaginal and an anal electrode with my E312. I would set it on a non-dramatic program at a low level and settle in to just concentrate on the feelings.

You'd need your partner to be very explicit in the description of the feelings they are having as small changes can make a huge difference between something that is pleasurable, and something that isn't. If you like vibrators, you'll certainly like e-stim. Buzzing, sucking/pulling are all sensations that are possible. I always orgasm from a combination of "mild" labial electrical stimulation provided by my PES stimulator with homemade labial clips, and a vibrator which is designed primarily to stimulate the clitorous. The vibrator is made in Switzerland, and has a peculiar shape which is not designed for penetration ( I dont remember the name of the device). In general e-stim on a woman is probably more for enhancing orgasms than inducing orgasms by itself alone (although it does happen). Using both a vaginal and anal probe at the same time in combination with clit vibration (after some time of just e-pulsing) is probably what can give a woman the most intense orgasm.

Expanding on what Skybear said, units can range from $20 all the way to $600 not including electrodes. The Erostek ET-312 is widely regarded as the cadillac of the estim units. Its worthy of the praise it receives. However, those with a creative or DIY spirit can build their own with just a few off the shelf parts and have great results, much better than the basic TENS units that most "electrosex" kits are based off of.

As documented, fantastic orgasms are possible with e-stim. I have build some electrodes out of spare anal plugs of varying sizes by attaching insulated copper wires (you can't have a copper allergy and use this device, but stainless steel wire can be used) in grooves cut in the plugs. By positioning and sizing the electrodes one can create a small conductor in a pattern or over specific spot, like the G-spot.
