Bondage and restraints on exam table

Anyone have any suggestions about bondage during medical play examination and treatments? Any male or female patients who have gone through this could comment on this experience?

I really like to put my patient into comfortable bondage positions: ways to restrain my patient, without her feeling discomfort after some minutes of play.

I use spreader bars, and rope bondage, with rope cuffs on ankles and thighs to restrain her to a massage table, used as a medical exam table.

I like cunt play and cunt torture, using a self made needle probe vibrator, made out of an electric toothbrush. My girlfriend loves it. Probing near or even firectly on her clit, requires me to restrain her very well, because after excitement she cannot keep her hips still by herself.

A position I still have to try out is to spread her ankles using a spreader bar, and fix de bar on the wall behind the table, lifting her legs above her head. This way, full access of vagina and anal area are available, great for insertion and vibrator play.

Of course, bondage requires a lot of trust, but it is very exciting and beautiful. The time spent to get the ropes and knots into place, is a big turn on for the patient, anticipating what is coming next, and the feeling of helplessness.

You could also put hooks on the front two legs of the massage table to help restrain some one. The legs would be up and apart but you can ajust the tenision on the rope. Also look at making home made stirrups or leg rest on the massage table that you can take on and off easily.

Well how about the institutional leather cuffs. I'd love somebody to use them on me so I think others would to.

I only have a folding table...but it's made of metal so it has that cold feel...I can either put paper/cloth on top of it or leave it bare depending on how I want my patients to feel! Typically I have to rig up any types of bondage stuff to it...I use ropes and belts at each of the four corners, though I've thought about trying more complicated setups.

If you have seen the thick mattress pads of memory foam for sale in better stores for about 120 dollars, you might cut a 4x8 piece of plywood to the same size and then staple a stretchy plastic cover over it w/staples on the bottom. you could use hooks to clip your bondage chains or ropes to. if you use 1 inch plywood, this would be very stable, large in size, and the screw in posts would be quite stable. the alternative is to buy a used medical table w/stirrups from a medical supply house. you can buy stable legs from home depot to support the home made table.

I like to use wide and / or narrow Velcro (hook & Loop) straps. You can get the material at Home Depot in long rolls and make custom sizes. You can wither strap the appropriate body part directly to the table or use a small diameter (3/16”) nylon cord to connect to the cuff you’ve made of Velcro.

If you want to restrain spread eagle on a bed this works well by running the nylon cord under the mattress and then bringing it up on the outsides of the mattress.

Velcro also offers you the option of how much restraint you and your patient are interested in exploring. With a 2 inch wide cuff, overlapped 2” there are very few people who would be able to break the bond but you can overlap about ¼ inch and it offers the patient the opportunity to feel the restraint but ultimately break them if they feel it necessary.

I have often used wrist restraints on patients that are bent over the end of a table. By taking a cord and wrapping it around the legs at the far end of the table you can quickly set the Velcro Cuffs to any distance you need to. Securing the ankles to the outside of the table legs at the ankle level, will generally leave the patient exposed and ready for any exam that needs to be performed on her. You can roll you chair right up close and personal for the exam. A lot of women like to feel the warmth of the inspection light during the exam.

Interesting suggestion, the use of velcro for bondage. Definitely something I will try in the near future.

I like restraints too. I prefer two straps on the stirrups for the legs, two for the wrists and one for the haunch.

I have had a play partner handcuff me to the table. While the restraint wasn't all that secure, since only my hands were restrained, and I could have easily escaped by choice, just the basic concept was still exciting.

I would love to be bound in leather institutional restraints, or even better in a well done shibari rope dress.....shibari is quite amazing!

I will never restrain for an examination or for 'treatment', even on request, until at least the third meeting.

Even then I will only use elesticated restraints or velcro with minimal engagement of the hook and latch tape. This gives sufficient illusion of restraint without the danger of being unable to escape unwelcome activity.

The only exception to this should be when the doctor and patient are already in a stable and trusting relationship.

Using real cuffs Velcro or leather/locking is the best way, adds the psychological aspect too of letting the doctor take control with something that will be fastened around the patients wrists/ankles for the entire duration of the exam. Use a couple eyebolts and clips/carribeaners to rearrange the patient during play : ). I prefer soft restraints/velcro cuffs for medical type play. the idea is more to posistion the person : )

Being throughly restrained with my legs spread wide while having an exam performed, only heightens the overall experience for me. Keep up the good work all you docs who use restraints.

Institutional restraints rock, and a couple of straps for stirrups and thighs and hips. Add a rigid neck brace and a blindfold and make your patient extremely happy!

Never thought of being restrained during an exam... seems like it could be fun though. learning more things everyday.

As in all things medfet, take it easy to begin with as my learned friend BigK has suggested.

With any sort of restraint/BDSM activity trust in each other is paramount as is knowing and respecting limits. I'd also suggest if the restraints and scenario are serious then the use of a safeword agreed beforehand would be a good practice.

As for you n1kk1 i am sure you'll have no shortage of willing teachers, myself included!

In any way the bondage on a gyno table, with some humiliation words and a forced orgasm is very coool!

Restraints are very exciting, as long as the patient can trust you, and as long as you don’t get carried away.

Personally, I love to use latex tubing because it will pull her tight, and make the sensation of being tightly stretched to the corners even more arousing.

I would really like an operating table with the perpindicular armboards and boot stirrups. Rigid neck brace and several plastic straps all over the table rendering me, or my victim immobile.

I think restraints could be cool, but they pose an interesting question: When does it stop becoming med play and start becoming another form of play (I would say "normal bdsm" were that not perhaps the biggest contradiction in terms I could come up with.)

Cuff wrists to ankles - right wrist to right ankle etc then tethers from the cuffs out to the side of your bed/table etc. comfortable for the patient and presents you with a wide open examining field.

Consider cranking up the airconditioner in the exam room. The cold room will make the already naked patient more nervous. :-)

I devised a very simple restraint system to our exam table. I added several eyebolts to the table just below the padded top then one smaller eyebolt to each of the stirrup brackets. I purchased several double end bolt snaps and some mild steel chain that I cut to various lengths. I already had some padded leather wrist and ankle cuffs. To restrain my patient, I use the double end bolt snaps and hook them to the wrist and ankle cuffs and then to the table eyebolts. The various chains can be used between two sets of the double end bolt snaps, if needed, to secure her wrists and arms to any of the different points on the table. With her feet in the stirrups and the ankle cuffs snapped to the eyebolts, it is impossible for her to remove her feet from the stirrups.

We have only used the restraint system for BDSM play or mad scientist role play so far. It is quite effective and can be used for an exam if desired.

I think being restrained, to make sure to be perfectly still for safety, during a procedure sounds incredible.
