Dental explorer tools

Anyone else dread the dentist picking up the dental explorer off the tray and start going at your teeth but also find the sound of the pinging oddly satisfying ?

Yeah its hot in a scary i have to sit and take this and be a good obedient patient

Definitely a love / hate thing.

They don't do this much anymore as it encourages decay to form in your fissures!
