Oil enemas

I am interested in mineral oil, or olive oil enemas. How many people use them How often and how many ounces?

Being handicapped and 83, I can’t do regular enemas. Can’t hold one, so it gets messy. I do use olive oil, or mineral oil enemas In a bulb syringe that holds about 10 ounces.

I have found that a "lube shooter" is very convenient to inject an ounce or two of oil. I use mineral oil if I expect a very dry turd. I also inject this if deciding to use a lengthy colon tube for a "high enema".

I have used mineral oil, several years ago. Tried the mineral oil Fleet, found it interesting, and started using a pint bottle in a bulb. I stopped using oil because of the long term leakage: had to wear a Depends for 10-24 hours after to keep clean.

There's almost no way to retain a mineral oil enema without at least some dripping. Just beware.

The"lube shooter" also works well with water soluble lubricants or olive oil. The advantages of internal lubrication allows for insertion of larger nozzles or dildoes or other desired items. The enema solution will clean out the small volume of oil without longer term leakage.

My doctor suggested I try a Fleet Mineral Oil enema. It was a leaky mess for hours afterwards. Never do that again.

I find the inevitable all-day leaking after the oil enema to be more than I care to deal with. I have tried a few Fleet oil enema, but will not do more.

We have used olive oil a few times mixed with aloe ,we prefer coconut oil much better.I have been given up to 40oz of warm coconut oil then a mixture of aloe juice mixed with coconut oil,be ready to spend the rest of the day home ,dripping will last,I have dripped the next morning.we will use tampons and Kotex pads to help .

I have found that after an oil enema a diaper is highly recommended. Without a diaper farts are not to be trusted and you will leak. But sometimes an oil enema is exactly what is needed so I have found a diaper is the best solution.

Done a few. Made mistake of doing a big one once and leaked forever. As someone else recommended a diaper afterwards is a good idea unless you clean out with a soapy one. Otherwise, generally a smaller or few bulbs of oil is better but still leaky.

I think that the majority of us that commented here are in agreement - it’s a mess.

Don’t expect to be “business as usual” afterwards.

Dont trust the gas you pass.

Wear a pad or an adult diaper.

😉🤣

It’s a guaranteed Shart! Lol

Here, Dr. recommended, and ordered so it is on my chart, 2 mineral oil enemas per week plus 3 saline bag enemas per week for chronic constipation, oh yes bladder incontinent so diapers day and night

My girlfriend gives me olive oil enemas occasionally at night 4 to 6 ounces initially in a knee chest position for five minutes then lying on my right side for 5 minutes and finally sitting for 5 minutes just before bedtime to fully coat the colon and prepared a two to three liter warm soapy enema the next morning after I first expel the enema. She may repeat the soapy enema before giving me two rinse enemas.
