Pre Internet ... How did you buy your panties?

Asking the members of my age group who became adults before the internet was around (mid-80's for me).

It was so much harder to get panties/plus sized women's outfits back then. You had to either be brave and buy them in person or deal with catalogs.

For me, I used combination of ordering from the Sears catalog and another catalog based store. It was so exciting to order and the wait seemed FOREVER. Later I got brave and found that you could shop at places like Ross and it was quick to grab a few items and check out. I'd drive to a different town nearby ... just in case! Amongst sissies I've met since then they still refer to it as "Ross Cross-Dress for Less"

Beginning younger crossdressers have it easy these days. You can order whatever you want on Amazon, alibaba or numerous other places, but they'll never know the terror and thrill of buying it in-person!
