Similarities or differences in exams

Would you say that you are more interested in physical exams which are similar to yours, meaning your sex, your approximate age, your provider's sex, age, or that you are more interested in the opposite: if you are male, the female patient, if you were young, at an older age, if your provider was male, with a female provider? Or are you more interested in perhaps one commonality, you are male, and like to read about other male patients, or your doctor was male, and you like to read about patients who had female doctors?

Growing up I had a female pediatrician. She saw me from birth until 18. I do like to hear the experiences of other guys in their 30s (and general age range) who also saw a female pediatrician. I never saw a male provider growing up so I also enjoy hearing the other side of things.

All my GPs, the cardiologist, and the urologists were male. The dentists too.

I have had only male doctors from my pediatrician to today. But the nurses were always female. So at the pediatrician, where boys were undressed to just our underpants at the start, then led by the nurse to the shared scale in the hallway, I was used to female nurses seeing me in just my tighty whities up through my sixteenth birthday exam. At those exams, the only people seeing me without undies were my male pediatrician and my mom. I had thought my being treated like a little boy until I was old enough to drive was due to being a late bloomer who did not get to Tanner Stage 4, and did not have my first ejaculation, until I was almost sixteen. I basically looked the part, and once I caught up development wise, graduated to a GP who treated me like an adult.

But now I see moms on Tiktok posting videos of their late teen sons sitting on an exam table in a pediatrician's office. So gender of the provider aside, hearing about other late teens, late bloomers or not, still getting pediatric exams in front of their moms, is my favorite similarity to discuss.

I have only seen older female physicians, both as a boy in my teens, and again when I started seeing a doctor again in my 40s. I didn't choose either one. Given that I just passed 60 now, the chances of finding an older female physician are getting somewhat remote.

I probably should see one soon (it's been almost 5 years) and for the first time in my life I am in a position that I have to pick my own doctor (my father picked my pediatrician, my late wife picked our family physician), and while I always found the experience of being examined by an older woman embarrassing, and leaving aside any fetish impulses, I can't help feeling like seeing anyone else would somehow feel wrong.

My brain confuses me.

My name tells you ^^
