Has anyone had experience as a medical teaching model?

I’m sorry if it was asked before. Has anyone had experience as a medical teaching model for breast or pelvic exams to medical students? A PA I know said she considered it to pay off her student loans because they pay well. I was wondering if anyone would like to share their experience like what they wore during the exam, what kind of students, do you think it helped, did you enjoy it?

It is a gynecology topic for ladies, not for men, so men please do not post here because it is not about your own experiences.

I’ve had two different gf’s have students present and perform the majority of their exam. Not sure if that’s what you’re going for…

@Chief92 I think what Smoog1 meant was if any woman had experience working as a gynecological teaching associate (GTA). A gynecological teaching associate (GTA) is a specialized educator who uses their own body to teach medical, nursing, and physician assistant students how to perform safe, comfortable, and accurate pelvic and breast examination.

What a GTA Does

• Acts as Patient and Instructor: GTAs guide learners step-by-step through visual, speculum, and bimanual exams, as well as breast and rectal checks. [
• Provides Real-Time Feedback: They grade and coach students immediately on physical technique, medical accuracy, and professional communication skills.
• Promotes Patient-Centered Care: They help reduce learner anxiety and teach trauma-informed, empathetic approaches to sensitive reproductive health visits.
