Who has witnessed your rectal exam?

I always watch hubby’s recital exams. He always gets hard.

I actually wanted my wife (who is a registered nurse) to be present while my urologist and radiation oncologist performed their multiple exams of my rectum when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. They felt up there with their fingers, measured it and did just about everything else up there prior to my radiation treatments. That was about 7 years ago now. I’m still here and still have annual DREs and PSA tests.

No one other than the doctor doing the exam has ever watched.

First time someones else was in the room was for a hemmorrhoids ligation at a public hospital, the doctor had a student, I saw him 4 times, each time he had a new student. The 3rd time he let the student do the exam and perform the ligation..

Had a cute student watching while I had a coloscopy. The doc did a DRE then the procedure while the student looked and asked questions. I was on sedatives so I barely notice her.

I had to go to the colorectal surgeon for a hemorrhoid, the assistant asked if someone could observe. I was in so much pain I didn’t care. The doc came in with an attractive female, I have no idea what or why she was observing, but the doc did his exam and asked for some lube and did a prostate exam. I almost passed out from the pain.

All but one were done with only me and the doctor present. The exception was in childhood when I was about to get a rigid sigmoidoscopy and the doctor began with a digital rectal exam. It was. Teaching hospital so there were nurses and at least one female medical student. Even though it is the one that is least clear in my memory, I think about it a lot and fantasize about variations on it. The scenario of a woman watching me get this being done to me and what she must be seeing and what she might say is always fixation for me.

In terms of people I know . . . just my mom when I got a few when younger due to some issues. Otherwise just doctors and nurses over the years.

My girlfriend has been in the room when I’ve gotten a rectal exam before. But I was facing towards her so she couldn’t see anything

When I was a university student I went to the student health centre worried about stomach pain, and the doctor, who was a middle aged man, decided that a rectal exam was called for... and also that the clinic receptionist, a young woman, should chaperone. I had never had a rectal exam before and remember feeling shy and humiliated, especially when the doctor started lecturing me about the dangers of natural health supplements (I had admitted to taking some prebiotic powder or something) while his finger probed my insides. I remember the receptionist standing opposite me, eyes on the ceiling, looking even more uncomfortable than me.

I have had a commercial driving licence for for over 40 years and it is part of the process every 2 years and when you change employers. Some medical examiners do it and other skip it. I have found it to be kind of fun to be exposed so, on the questionnaire many times on the question about hemorrhoids I will put yes. Almost every one of them will check then. I have always tried to be discrete and shower before I go in and wear clean underwear.

At a urologist appointment recently for the beginning of a turp surgery. As I enter the room there is a rather large device ( could have passed for a dildo) as they 3 of them in the room) got me on my back legs up. Rather strange but exciting. 2 other observers came into the room as the dr shoved the device into my ass and ran another longer skinny camera device up my pee hole. As I felt completely violated, it was kind of a rush to have all the people in the room watching.. strange but I think I enjoyed it…lol
