Rectal exam at primary care

Ladies only. So if you’ve ever had a rectal exam that was at primary care and not part of a gyno exam, what position did you find yourself in?

Simms position, I suspect that is pretty standard when not in stirrups. What was your experience?

Haven’t have one but have a feeling it’s coming.

I had one at my pediatrician, when I was having some bowel issues

Laying on my side. With both knees pulled up. My butt sticking out of the gown. Not being able to make eye contact is awkward.
