There are various Sexual Practices that have been, and are still, used to degrade or just simply hurt women.
I can look it up, but in the 1970s there was a female Porn Star who began to pretty forcefully push-back against the OVERWHELMING use of Anal Sex with Women as simply a way to hurt them, and show dominance.
2nd Wave Feminism internalized that to its disadvantage, creating schisms in the Feminist Movement (I wonder if that pun is intended???).
Oral Sex too had been used in this way, but in the late-19th and early-20th Centuries its expedience led to a growing acceptance.
Most of the Respondents here “GET IT COMPLETELY” that respect IS NOT ABOUT what position is used, nor what hole, slot, or tab is connected to others.
But historically Anal Sex IS/WAS SOMETHING used to degrade and humiliate women… This came about due to Puritanical Christianity gaining increasing power after the various Great Awakenings from the 16th to 20th Centuries (or the Reaction to The Enlightenment, where Christianity had ALWAYS demonized Homosexual ‘Male’ (Biological Sex, not so much Gender) Anal Sex, which these people (AND EVEN WELL-INTENTIONED/INTENSIONED¹ — See Freud, who did more damage to Human Sexuality than did the Church by Giving a seemingly Science-sounding excuse to kill people who did certain sexual things) BELIEVED TO BE ABOUT SCATOLOGICAL FIXATIONS. When that is true of only 0.02% of the Population as a whole…. SO…. They believed they were forcing this fixation upon women s penetrated.
LIKE EVERYTHING…. MANY people knew “Oh fucking HELL That is BULLSHIT!” And practiced it because they knew they enjoyed it… But the Tendency to have States/Governments make it a Capital Offense (EVEN IF heterosexual and between Husband/Wife) meant they could not openly admit this, and thus it was forced “underground,” so to speak, where only very specific codes and signals (see things like The Cut Sleeve by Dr. Bret Hinsch: Taiwan National, or the earlier Western “Tea-House/Bath-House/Public Restroom” publications, USUALLY intended for gay male populations who were nearly 100% Closeted. Some might remember a certain Anti-Gay Senator being arrested in an Airport Bathroom for engaging in such Signalling to solicit Gay Sex. The term “Wide Stance” came up a lot. But ANYONE who knew what the various Bandanas Freddy Mercury wore meant would PROBABLY KNOW that you CANNOT ACCIDENTALLY Signal that you want to have homosexual sex with someone…
So there was an ENORMOUS stigma to these kinds of sex acts that caused their criminalization, and the identifying of people practicing them as Sickops, Deviants, Perverts, etc. AND ALWAYS there is the accusation of Pedophilia to go with it… These people are Less Than; Not really Human because they abandoned their humanity…. etc… And we tended to either Sanction them De Jure, throwing them in prison where homophobes would PROBABLY kill them. Or via a De Facto form of Social Violence that was also physical: Fag Bashing.
All that is relevant because Gay Male Anal Sex is associated with VERY SPECIFIC SEXUAL POSITIONS. Welcome to why so many US Sodomy Laws also Criminalized ANY Female Superior Position, OR ANY position where the woman is penetrated (vaginally or anally) from behind. Many Codified “Missionary Position Sexual Intercourse” AS THE ONLY LEGAL FORM OF SEX.
Combine that with pornography being nearly 100% catering to not just men, but USUALLY either the Criminal, or Insanely Powerful and Wealthy, Men. And Starting in the late-19th Century, MANY of these women began asking for things like:
• The Right to Vote.
• The Right to Own Property in their Own Right and Name .
• The Right to have a Bank Account in their name, and to have their own Money.
• The Right to have access to Credit and Capital.
• OH! And that whole “Equality before the Law” and “Equal Pay or Equal Work” stuff.
These guys DID NOT LIKE THIS…
So they asked themselves “What can we do to them to make them stop asking to be treated like Human Beings instead of OUR PROPERTY?”
The most misogynistic and homophobic amount them would usually suggest “Let’s fuck em like they are a bunch of nelly faggots!“
I mentioned in another thread about “Why do we like enemas?“ that someone I know is finishing her PhD in Human Sexuality soon (I met her via a Girlfriend who said she was deeply interested in interviewing people who have principally indulged in “Fringe Sexual Behaviors that do not require some form of Traumas or psychological damage to get off on.“ — The girl wanted to interview us both as a couple, and get respective sexual histories, and what we get out of such things. We liked it, but it did involve having to see some things we would NOT have chosen to see to get baselines of where we have a Postive Negative Response… i.e. Not just “I would rather not see that, thank you!“ but going from a state of intense arousal to “Well… I need to scrub my skin off and by a new skin after seeing that. Maybe some new eyes, too. But sex is out of the question until I can forget that.“ — This was during her undergrad years) and she wants to dump the term “deviation/deviant“ to describe…. Well… Pretty much everyone here.
This is from a discovery she is still in peer review over suggesting that there are sexual acts that ANY relatively, physically normal Human COULD GET OFF ON, IFF they wanted to (or if they were in a state of mind that did not slam on the brakes when they realized what was happening). She is still working on terminology, but “Endogenous Kinks“ is what she says communicates the concept: Things that are naturally present in everything on the planet with a Neocortex. But that Social Stigma/Norms cause negative perceptions and ignorance surrounding them. I thought it ironic that Anal activities of any kind, including Enemas, and SOME MedFet are the “Terminal End“ of Endogenous Sexual Kinks.
Past that… You need to be damaged in some way to “get off“ on some things. I am not talking here about the Housewife BDSM, or what about 50% to 80% of Dommes do. I mean things like Genital Torture and Mutilation, Having sex with holes you cut in people (That is a Thing), Rape, Crucifixion and Cannibalism Fetishes. These are the “Exogenous Sexual Deviations“ that NO NORMAL HUMAN can get off on without the same kind of damage or Trauma that caused it in others.
But she has a great deal that explores why so many sex acts that are not procreative missionary sex have at some point been used as a means to demean and humiliate, if not actually physically hurt, women.
This sort of reminds me of Guys who think having anal sex with a girl means they are secretly gay, or the girls who think guys who like anal sex with girls are secretly gay.
I was lucky in that regard in that my first two sexual partners (at a freakishly young age, well before we had even officially learned what sex was) were a boy who lived don the street, and the girl who sat next to me in the Orchestra (3rd & 4th chair, 2nd Violins), where I quickly learned the “Insides of a boy“ and the “Insides of a girl“ feel VERY DIFFERENT….. But we three were CONSTANTLY encountering the examples of that kind of ignorance as we grew up.
But, sadly… Lots of twisted guys associate all manner of sexual behaviors with the STUPIDEST THINGS!
