New Patient Visit

So I made an appointment with a practice at a teaching hospital. I am just wondering if there will be an exam and if it will be more thorough than what I have been getting at my conventional appointments.

Anyone have any thoughts?

I used to see a PCP that regularly had medical students and residents. Typically, the medical student/resident came in and did the history and a physical. And then my doctor (attending) would come in, ask a few questions, repeat some of the exam. However, I will say the exam was typically very cursory by both - ears, throat, heart, lungs, abdomen. I can't tell you the last time I was in a gown.
