Less Embarrassed

Men and women - At what age did you finally become less embarrassed about having your body exposed at the doctor? For me, it was probably in my 50’s. I’d had several years of penis and rectal exams and I guess I got used to the exposure. It was about then that when the time came, I’d just take off my pants and underwater (I was already topless) and stand naked in front of the doctor and my wife. Sometime I would get semi hard other times nothing. When the exam was over, the doctor usually left and I wiped up and then got dressed. Occasionally I would get harder while I was cleaning up - whether or not he was there. Sometimes he would be talking and I’d just go about cleaning up. How about you?

As for my wife, probably her 60’s. We see the same doctor and would usually go annually about a week apart. So she’d see him twice a year and by then had stopped going to the gyn and she had him do the breast and pelvic exams. So, as she has aged, being less careful to be sure that everything is covered. She’ll often not bother to retie the gown after the breast exam. Since it’s open in the front, as the doctor moves to the abdomen, the gown often falls to the sides exposing her entire breast and nipples. When she sits up, the gown remains open, showing her breast but not as far open as her nipples. She’ll remain like that as the doctor wraps up and then she starts taking the gown off as the doctor is leaving (once being topless with a male patient walking by). That would have never happened when she was younger.

I'm still waiting for the day I get less embarrassed by it all! I'm just as anxious and nervous now as I've ever been.
