Who was in the room for You?

Soo I myself got circumcised at the age of 8 by my pediatrician and during said well procedure my Mother was in the room able to watch.

I've heard of people who had nurses aides and various parental units witnessing the 'big moment' as it were but I'm curious how common it actually is.

What about ya'll? Any of you cut folk have an audience for the event as it were??
