Instrumentation: no instruments; had experienced rectal temps til age 12

The Clinical Vibe: Very clear and fast. Since then, exam has been similar though also given DRE laying on my side.

Duration: brief

The Aftermath: Surely felt embarrassed

Most awkward exam during your teens? (Sports physical, school check-up, etc.): the first time my pediatrician felt my testes at age 12

First Genital Exam: (How old were you? Was it a male or female provider?) Age 12

The "Cough" Test (Hernia Check): (How was the experience? Did it feel professional or uncomfortable?) Uncomfortable, but not overwhelming either

Puberty Assessment: (Did the doctor evaluate your maturation/Tanner scale? How did that feel?) I'm sure they did, just didn't really communicate it

Audience: (Were your parents present, or were you alone in the exam room?) parents were there

First DRE (Digital Rectal Exam) - Age and Reason: age 20. It was my second play exam, first one though with a male doctor

The Setting: (Who else was in the room? Alone or with staff/students?) Play partner

Preparation & Position: (Did you drop your pants or strip? Side-lying, bent over, or knee-chest?) all fours position and then in knees-chest

Instrumentation: (Have you ever experienced an Anoscope or Proctosigmoidoscope? Describe the sensation of the insertion.) Anoscope. I found it a little uncomfortable being inserted. The digital rectal exam was a little easier sensation wise.

The Clinical Vibe: (Describe the feel of the gloves, lubricant, and the doctor's manner/instructions.) Play doctor was good about communicating. He initially was a little rough with the anal exam, but got easier over a couple of minutes.

Duration: (How long did the examination last? Did it feel brief or extended?) About an hour long in total. The rectal exam was about 5 minutes long.

The Aftermath: (How was the clean-up and the feeling of vulnerability afterward?) My play doctor was able to get me cleaned up from the rectal exam very quickly. He did examine me during orgasm (he masturbated me after doing a genital exam); that took a little longer to clean up.
