No but that sound interesting. Have you done it? If so, it would be good to know more about it. Denise
I bought an endoscope on Amazon 2 yrs ago. Under $30. It works, sort of... it's listed as 'semi-rigid' which means fairly stiff and difficult to bend around corners. Images are mediocre at best. Issue concerning amount of lube used for insertion in anus - too much and it covers the lens. Also, a squirt of air after insertion helps expand the rectum for better view. Variable light is great. All in all, it is a fun toy to play with.
Fiber optic scopes are really old now and low quality your better off with the new camera scopes or snake cam with temu or amazon theres a ton of them from 20 bucks and up even steerable
Here's more about it . . .
A day after paying Amazon $61.59, I received my very own Anykit Articulating Borescope, 210° Two-Way 0.22in Slim Probe Endoscope with High-Brightness LED Lights, 4.3" IPS HD Video Inspection Snake Camera.
I was less than impressed with the articulating borescope. While it was interesting and fun to fool around with the camera, it was hard to control even with the articulating capability that can bend left or right, but not forward and backwards.
The camera does not focus when brought into extreme close-up shots. Sadly, pretty much everything in the rectum is up close and personal. Every so often I was able to accidentally get a view of some folds of skin or the length of the rectum, but it was so random and I could not replicate whatever maneuver I made to get the shot in the first place.
I did notice that when inserted the camera a ways up inside and then withdrew it, I got a few good shots on the way out.
When I tried filling my rectum with air, as was suggested, and then later with water, to expand the anatomy so the camera could look around with some clarity, it did help some but not enough to justify buying the articulating borescope, at least for me.
It sounds like others have had better luck or skill to make it a better experience.
