How do you insert a rectal suppository?

Pointed or Blunt end first?

With or without lubricant?

What position? On your stomach, lying on your side, across someone’s lap or on your back (diaper position?

What are your reasons for your choices?!

I enjoyed my girlfriend in college using a Norforms applicator to insert different cold suppositories into my rectum by first inserting the pointed end into the applicator, squirting some lubricant on the end and just inserting the applicator just a little into my anus before pushing the plunger . I would feel the suppository slide through my anus into my rectum.

Place the pointed end against the opening of the anus (you probably don't need lube unless you prefer it), keep pushing it into the anal canal until the muscles of the internal sphincter pull it up into the rectum.

@buttdial I read that the best and correct way to insert a rectal suppository is BLUNT end first. The reason is that the suppository is pulled in by the sphincter and goes in and melts quicker!

@Luvbottomtemps That doesn't make sense to me, but by all means insert it the way you find most effective (or enjoyable).

Depends. Usually in squatting position with tip at first and without lube, as a suppository which is being warmed up is slippery enough. Tried it with blund end also, but it doesn‘t make much difference.

I try to get it as high as possible, therefore pushing it with middle finger as deep as possible.

Sometimes, while sitting because of travelling by car. It doesn‘t get that deep in that case, but it has a charm on it‘s own. 😉
