@Wrestler67 - hahah you're a rebel, doing what YOU think is best right off the bat. Personally, I think this is admiral; it's just ridiculous that people are weighed with clothing on, especially coats, shoes, even some sweaters - it DOES change the outcome. One could make the argument that being weighed for a physical with clothing on is anti-science, which truly has no place in a Doctors' Office, where true data should be the guarded norm..
Like most (apparently) I've been a real lemming, doing what I am told from he get-go. i.e. my last Physical, only a few months ago. The nice nurse told me to get on the scales and I simply DID - I was fully dressed with shoes on. I should Man Up. Really.
I would bet that if I look cock-eyed & announced, when being weighed, that I'm "Taking off some clothes so a true weight can be taken, if you don't mind accuracy", a lot of nurses would make a note in my file that I'm a "difficult personality." (?) Heh maybe this is a little paranoid - but they take it for granted that subjects paying for a Physical (and this one was required, not even my choice) must do exactly what THEY say to do.
Frankly, I imagine it's possible that if I actually stripped down to my underwear to be weighed after being ordered (that's what it is, an Order) to step onto rhe scales fully dressed, some nurses working currently might consider me a sex pervert. (They'd be correct, actually, but that's a whole other matter, isn't it.)
