I guess he meant Sonicare as a generic designation for any sonic toothbrush - like hover for vacuum in some countries

I wondered at the direction of motion of the Sonicare. See, I have an Oral B, in which the brush head rotates (apparently recommended for people with crowns or implants). I wondered if the Sonicare does a more basic side-to-side motion mimicking hand brushing. The Oral B doesn't vibrate much at all and the brush side would be capable of twisting any loose skin--like the scrotum. Ow!

Sonicare has no moving per say - it vibrates, like a lot. Hence a very nice feeling in the nether region without danger of opening up your innards with that Oral twisting head. Much preferred on teeth and everywhere else...
