As I’ve said in other post, my siblings and I never saw mom and dad give each other enemas. However, after my wife and I got married, we used enemas for both health and pleasure. Once we had kids of our own, their pediatrician recommended a soapy followed by a salt and baking soda rinse enema for constipation issues, and not to give them laxatives. Something both my wife and I were familiar with, especially me. Having grown up getting enemas as needed along with my siblings.
Hence, we gave our kids enemas, as recommended, from an early age when needed. Usually around bedtime. So, it wasn’t unusual, once the kids had been given a couple of enemas and put to bed, for us to give ourselves a couple of enemas. That being said, as our kids got older, if they accidentally walk in the bathroom when we were giving each other enemas. They understood what we were doing, having received enemas from an early age themselves. So, on those occasions, starting around age eight or nine, if one or both walked in on us. We used the opportunity to give them instructions on personal hygiene. Teaching them why, amount and type of solutions, lubrication, nozzle types, and how to give themselves and each other enemas, much like my siblings and I were taught around the same age.
