Blood after sounding

A few days ago, I ordered Chinese food, and instead of wooden chopsticks, they gave me stainless steel ones. As you can imagine, after dinner, I sterilized a chopstick and inserted it into my penis, something I'd been wanting to try for a while. I used some lubricant (any recommendations?) and it went in very easily, about 3 cm from the end. Everything was perfect, very pleasant, no pain. The problem was that afterward, when I ejaculated, a small spot of blood came out. A few hours later, the slight burning sensation while urinating also disappeared, and after 20 days, I'm certain I have no infections. I'd like to do it again, but I'm afraid of causing damage. Any advice?

In the early days I did get a show of blood but it soon cleared up. I am more gentle now and (touch wood) I have not had a show since. I use massage oil as lube I use a dropper to apply a small amount of oil inside before I start. Sterilize everything before you start and only use medical grade stainless steel sounds. Let the weight of the sound be the only force that inserts the sound and if you feel any discomfort stop. Start with sounds that are comfortable in size and only work up to larger ones when you feel ready.

I'd love some education here. I have not done this....but am quite curious. What does it feel like? Pan? Pleasure? Both? Which lube do you use? I'm concerned about UTIs and more damage to the urethra.

I did get a burning sensation after my first couple of exploratory sounding sessions, but no blood. I assumed the burning was because I used a dental pick with a knurled handle and no lube except my own pre cum. The burning was gone the next day and there were no lasting effects. I am quite anxious to try it again with the proper equipment since the sensation of the rod sliding down my shaft felt wonderful. I was able to slide it down to the base of my penis with just the head of the pick exposed.

Surprised no one has said this yet: blood when sounding is bad. It means you’ve damaged the urethral wall and made it bleed. It will heal but will also leave scar tissue. Do this often enough and you cause strictures: a narrowing of the urethra that makes it hard for urine (or semen) to pass.

DIY sounding is bad. That stainless steel chopstick looked smooth but in reality had jagged edges that your urethra could clearly feel, hence the blood.

Invest in real sounds meant for sounding. Using common household objects is just asking for trouble.

May I suggest you get some Silicone Sounds and practice with those until you get the "feel" of where they are and just how much movement is required (if any), to achieve a "happy ending"

The Urethra does change direction at the base of your penis, so do some online research to find out the direction it changes.

Get a good quality Water Based Lube and be aware, they ALL WILL dry out due to the heat and friction when playing, so replenish often,
