Bottle enemas quick or slow squeeze?

On the rare occasions mom used a Fleet type enema for me she sometimes would take her time in squeezing the bottle so it entered slowly but sometimes she'd give the bottle a hard squeeze and the cold enema would squirt up inside of me invariably making me gasp. This quick squirt approach often happened when she'd opened a two pack and if I was OTK. She'd open the box, take out the first, inject and often say, "I'll give you this other one too. That will be sure to get results." The second one I'd get firmly, but not so aggressively. Mostly though I'd get a single shot, not too aggressively.

She always had several two packs as well as singles under the sink. When she'd see on sale, she'd buy several be it singles, two packs and even I think it was four packs.

My wife also has always kept squeeze bottle enemas on hand and, like mom, what's on sale. She often uses these herself not for constipation but when for some reason she wants to go out with an empty bowel. Before a long car trip, a flight, or even an afternoon golfing. When she uses on me if I'm OTK it will be a firm but not rushed injection. On the other hand if she has me in the diaper position I can be fairly sure she will squeeze the bottle as hard as she can and send my eyes a popping.

I got to thinking about this as I was putting away shopping a few minutes ago which included a couple of twin packs she'd noticed on sale and I wondered how others have had, or give, bottled enemas .... fast, probably average, or maybe really slow?

I don’t use bottled enemas. I use the “real thing”: a full bag of soapy water. I like my enemas administered slowly.

I'm with @Iris1858. A bag is the only way to go if you want to truly get a good, slow enema.

I tried Fleet enemas a few times. To me they are too harsh, and cramps can last quite a while. For a quick enema I use my 8 Oz bulb syringe. Three warm bulbs full standing at the sink, held for just a few minutes does the job with easy clean up. If I have ample time a 2 or 3 qt slow fill with warm water and some J&J is much preferred! This morning was a needed 3 squeeze enema with good results! No waiting to work no cramps and very fast expulsion.

I’ve tried fleets a few times and like others I just don’t agree with them (or rather they don’t agree with me). I find they burn quite badly and make me feel a bit nauseated which isn’t what I want or need. So now I just stick with the bag enemas, suppositories or the microlax enemas.

It depends on my mood. If sub needs "punished...as fast as I can get it in. If it just because then a bit slower.

Several years ago, hubby and I were on an extended vacation and I got totally clogged up. Early morning flights, time zone changes, eating at odd times all combined to totally foul up my system. One afternoon, we stopped at a Walgreens and picked up a two pack of Fleet enemas. I needed relief and quick. I had used Fleet enemas before and while they didn't provide the "extra benefits" of a traditional bag enema, it did fix the problem at hand.

When we got to our hotel and secured our room, I stripped off my jeans and undies and got in the knee-chest position on the bed. Hubby did the honors and surprised me with a quick squeeze (I wasn't expecting it). The cold enema shot up my rectum like an ice cold bullet Without much fanfare the enema did it's thing and I managed to get the relief I craved.

So, if you're in dire straits, a bottled enema will help...but as most of us all know....nothing beats the bag!

I found the bottles to be a convenient, readily available “gateway” to greater, more sustained and hands-free enema pleasures that I use today. Back in my newbie days I’d use a slow squeeze on the initial bottles followed by fast squeezes on the last bottles.

I think I give more "bottle enemas" containing my urine than fleets.

I have used the bottled enemas in the past and they got results, butt not near as much fun as the bag. I usually go slow

with the squeeze and try to fold the bottom down flat to get the most fluid in me.

I haven't tried the quick squeeze yet. I have not had any bad or unusual reactions from the fleet stye formulas.

I'm guilty of using them once in a while or in a pinch such as others have stated while on travel. i Normally do the first slow and steady and once the bottle is empty i normally refill it with water and do a quick squeeze to push the original solution up as far as possible. The results very depending on circumstances but works in a pinch.

My wife is a slow squeezer, I do it fast when by myself.

I was always told go slow to give time for your body to adjust and higher chances of holding it. The influx of fluid fast just makes you feel like you need to go more urgently sooner etc.

After the occasional use of a Fleet enema, I will rinse out the bottle and take it on vacation to provide a quick clean out when needed.

When I use it for a quick clean out on vacation, I squeeze the bottle quickly. After all, it's a quick clean out.

I've mentioned this elsewhere. I go to a lady at a massage parlor a few times a year to get relief from semen buildup. She gives me a Fleet and HJ. I take a while for the happy ending to happen so she squeezes very slowly and the last squeeze usually comes when I do.

I have received a ' Fleet's Disposal Enema ' in a medical setting but never have considered the small ' squeeze bottle ' to be a ' real ' enema as there was simply not enough fluid to give me the ' good results ' I needed and wanted as when I received an enema from a ' fountain syringe / 2 quart bag ' configuration . As I recall as to this thread question , one nurse did a ' quick squeeze ' and another young male murse did a ' slow squeeze ' method neither of which impresed me nor rendered a ' good ' bowel movement . As stated : .... just not enough ' volume ' for me for a proper colon cleansing .
