Is the pleasure of enemas and suppositories connected to cleansing?

The idea of this post came in some conversations with other Zity members.

We all know that enemas and (laxative) suppositories have an effect on our bowels, but it seems to me that there are different opinions about whether the pleasure we get from enemas and suppositories is linked to emptying the bowels.

Some members seem not to be really interested in that consequence and might consider that just as something inevitable that maybe they could better live without.

So the question is: imagine for a moment that enemas and suppositories do not make you go. Would you enjoy them more? Less? Or the same?

As for me, I’m pretty sure that I would get less pleasure, as even constipation is a turn-on for me. But I would like to find out what the Zity community thinks on this.

I would definitely get less pleasure. A lot of the turn-on that enemas give for me has to do with the idea of being clean and being made clean by the enema. If an enema did not make me go, I would not be interested in doing it in the same way. For instance, I would never want to do a belly inflation with air or anything like that as it would not help clean me out.

Although I derive a great deal of sensual pleasure from enemas, I would enjoy them less if I did not also achieve a good cleanout. I hate being constipated and I love the light, clean feeling after having had an effective enema.

There is no denying that there are parts of the enema process we find pleasure in do not require that we achieve complete cleansing. I like the lubrication of the anus, the insertion of the nozzle, and that initial rush of the warm water. And of course there is the feeling of relief if I was constipated and needed to get empty, but even when not constipated, the empty feeling after a good enema is down right pleasant.

So, I guess the bottom line is that I like what enemas do for me even if I don’t really need the cleansing they provide.

I have never had a enema I’m not opposed to trying one . I have had suppositories more so as a child . A few as an adult both for Constipation and for nausea when the pills don’t work from vomiting. The pleasure comes from the thought that someone a nurse of other is about to stick something or a finger up your butt unless you are about to do it yourself . Then the feeling of relief

Simply put, I would enjoy the process at the same level I always have. The release of my bowels daily, is an aspect that was demanded of me from childhood and potty training.

An enema, is far more than just triggering a BM. The prep, and ultimate delivery of an enema, stimulated so many other sensory and psychological aspects that seemingly couldn't be affected using other methods.

While the process created the mechanism to experience so many different aspects, the situation evolved over many decades of my existence. The fetishistic aspect is one of those.

I have commented previously, that enemas have not negatively precluded an otherwise "normal" existence. If anything, enemas have enhanced that existence in overcoming the many challenges that arise in daily life.

I consider the cleanout to be a premium benefit of the enemas. Having been raised on regular twice weekly enemas with my three sisters (yes, all together), we all developed "other" feelings as we knelt with our chests over the rail of Grams large clawfoot tub. Having been given enemas as a young child, before age five, and liked the feelings enemas gave. And like me, my two siblings were no different. My local NHS hospital requires me to take a suppository on arrival, and "your nurse may assist with this" Then I have to wait in curtained off area, which contains a toilet, before moving to the endoscopy suite. There a radiologist will put barium paste into my rectum before I defecate in front of them into a special commode. I find the whole thing, particularly the embarrassment of having to use a toilet in the presence and on instructions of complete strangers - just pray they are female, intensely arousing. The cleansing results of the enema or suppository has never been the primary goal or source of pleasure for me. From as early as I can remember, I enjoyed the feeling of something in my ass. For me enemas have always been an erotic experience. I have never suffered from constipation. And the simple answer for me is- I would enjoy enemas the same.

When I do a series of three enemas, I will pretty much clear my colon given my last enema produces a translucent clear return with no solids. Getting to that level of cleansing does produce a calming effect in my digestive system as it quietly starts its rebooting phase that lasts 1 to 2 days. For me this is a secondary benefit not a primary benefit.

Overall, for me enemas produce a unique anal erotic experience which is so different from any other kind of anal stimulation. That is why I have been giving myself enemas for nearly six decades.

I too as others have mentioned have had nearly life long constipation issues and longtime history of enema use. In spite of the fact that I also 'like' my enemas beyond mere constipation relief, I am and would be a bit dissapointed if I don't or didn't also realease a significant amout of stool no matter what the reason is why I'm getting an enema. I'm rarely dissapointed in that department, and if I am I have probably been doing too many enemas. Stool release is definitely part of the appeal for me. The bulkier or more voluminous the better.

I've used suppositories before but not in a couple years. I used them to get some of the poo out so my 1st enema would be easier to take. And also relax my anus to insert the nozzle easier.

Now, I know how difficult it is to find a partner for suppository or enema playing but for a moment imagine yourself having a mate to play with.

In such a situation would you like to administer to him/her a laxative suppository or, say, one for nausea or sore throat? Would having control on his/her bowels increase your excitement or not? On the flip side would giving your mate control over your own bowels increase the excitement or not?

And the same would applies to enemas. If they could be used, say, just to absorb some water, when playing with a mate would you use such an enema or would you stick to the cleansing ones?

Of course, given my OP, you can easily guess that for me laxative suppositories and enemas would always be my favorite and those which would arouse me the most, but I would like to hear from as many esteemed zity members as possible what their preference would be

It can be, butid like to use suppositories or enemas to keep a female adult baby in control, she would only be allowed to poo when i say so , as i also like it done to me, is there anyone out there nearby who wants to play ?

For me the pleasure of enemas has little to do with emptying my bowels. In an ideal situation the idea of being anally penetrated with a nozzle by my female partner then the sense of feeling the fill ending up with a sense of urgent fullness is where the pleasure is coupled with some level of humiliation & of giving control to your partner.
