Non traditional Suppositories

So, I went to my workout supplement store and got a supplement. I started orally taking the supplement. The same day and the next I expirenced horrible heartburn. I know that from resources and research you can take capsules, tablets, softgels, and other non traditional suppositories rectally and vaginally. So I started taking them rectally. First I used some lube and a finger to shove it up my ass. Then I found a capsule and tablet inserter. Btw no more nasty stomach issues or heartburn! What are your thoughts?

I have bever heard of this before. What is a tablet inserter?

It depends on the specific drugs. Some require metabolism in the digestive tract to release the active ingredient, some are absorbed much better from the small intestine than the colon. Some need the slower absorbtion as it works through the stomach (think drinking vs "butt shots") Others can go either way.
