What surprised you about going 24/7?

After a couple of years I've been through many situations and here's what surprised me about going 24/7:

- changing in public (not the act of changing, but that has challenges too) - 24/7 means there will be times you need to have spare diaper. I've taken to a backpack when Im awsy from the house for longer periods. Can't really walk around holding a spare diaper, plus it's a hassle but always need to be prepared.

- Leaking at home - Im usually quite aware of my diaper state in public and change before any issues but at home? Sometimes Im watching TV/on my computer/working from home/being lazy and I ended up leaking just because I've been in the same position for a few hours and haven't thought about how wet I am.

- going #2 in the toilet. Wearing a tab diaper means somehow getting it down or untaping (which depending on the diaper, won't always retake well) and there are times I waste an unused diaper because I went #2 and couldn't get the diaper taped up again.

- travelling requires planning. Not always easy to find a place to buy diapers (especially good ones) and they are bulky to take with you.

What other things have you discovered?

Bozo, As to traveling. Yes, hard to know where to buy quality diapers, particularly if in another country. And way too bulky to carry a supply. Sometime ago someone explained on here how they mailed in advance a supply to where they would be staying. I never tried it but I assume there are hotels that will accept packages for arriving guests. Don’t know what to do if going to visit your ‘sister and family’; or if on a touring holiday where you might not know when you’ll be or even where on a certain day. I like getting a car and just exploring and following what presents itself-I guess then one would just have to do with ‘store’ brands and hope they are decent-and maybe carry a couple pairs of good plastic panties!
