How do you feel about the age of someone spanking you?

Does the age of the person spanking you matter? Are you more comfortable with someone close in age to you? Or is a large age difference exciting or something that intrigues? Gender does not matter, this is about a large or larger age difference.

I enjoy the idea of an older partner spanking me, I'm mid-20s so someone 40+ who can give a good firm spanking and make me feel like it's 'for my own good'. I've only been punished by spankers older than me but I don't have any strong feelings about their age. I might have reservations about being dealt with by someone much younger than me but that's not been something that I have had to seriously think about so far.

However, what matters more to me is the credibility and the air of authority that the person who is gong to punish me is able to convey. For me a spanking is not a bit of sexual fun. It should be a serious and formal occasion and the spanker does need to fit that role.

I have a preference for someone around my own age, but when I was younger I quite liked being spanked by someone older by around 20 years or so. This has changed somewhat since I have aged. I am 71 now and I don't think someone who was 90 years old would appeal, unless it was someone I had known for years. I have spoken to a number of female spankees and many of them do prefer a spanker to be a generation (15-25yrs) older than them.

One of them, a former girl friend, told me that she preferred a spanker to be much older than her (and larger than her) for a spanking to work physiologically.
