Lots of factors contribute to kidney disease. Obesisty, alcohol, diet etc. enemas aren’t going to fix that. Diet, cleaner living and ecercise are better natural detox programs for most people.

I don’t buy into these articles and studies as to promoting artificial methods of inducing a healthy bowl and other benefits

Consider the source, though. The Epoch Times is not known as a reliable source of medical or scientific information. Its stance on climate change and vaccines would introduce political discussion the site owner does not want, and they're known to cast doubt on the findings and research conducted by modern science for medical treatments for cancer and liver failure, leading some people to refuse treatments that would very probably had saved their lives.

The whole concept of bodies being toxic and needing cleaning to be pure again has no scientific support.

While I enjoy enemas as much as (or more than) the average klismophile, let’s not fall into espousing these “intestinal toxicity” claims supported by pseudoscience.
