MEN: Have you been to your wife's gynecology exam?

I have gone to all of my wife's gynecological exams except for her first one when she was trying to get into the ROTC program for a scholarship and the exam was at a military medical clinic. they were not all that interested in patient comfort. she was forced to stand nude for much of it, and the brusk doctor did not give her warning before doing anything. she said she almost hit the ceiling when he just shoved two fingers into her dry vagina. she had a bf but had only had sex one time. so she was still pretty tight. she said it hurt horribly and the doctor just said, "settle down. you're alright."she was topless after an EKG when the dentist came in to do a check of her teeth. they had already said they were slammed that Saturday and had to rush things along. the pelvic exam was done with her completely bare. when he told her to go over to the exam chair she asked if she could put her underwear back on and he said no because he had not done a breast exam yet.

Later we looked up the doctor on the state's website to see if he had any complaints, and discovered he was an eye doctor. honestly. he was liscened as an Opthmologist. In our state any MD can do pretty much anything. so this guy probably had very little gynological training. and that was probably back in med school. so it is no wonder he was not very good.

She hated this guy and to discover that he was really an eye doctor made her horrified. they were probably short handed at the clinic and just needed him to do some routine entrance exams. but wow

I’ve never had a girlfriend or wife unfortunately but when I do I hope they will let me go. It’s been my dream. I’ve been to my mom’s when I was a kid and stuff but it’s been awhile. I’d do anything to go to another one with any lady.

I had someone who was willing to let me go because they needed money and I was willing to pay but we got there and things didn’t work out at the office due to their policy so we ended up leaving. The only reason we chose that one is because it’s the only one open on Saturdays that’s within reasonable driving distance. We are still trying to plan something for the future when both of us are available. Next time she’s going to call ahead and ask policy about how many people can come before going to a different one. She won’t go back to the one we went to because they were very rude and hateful towards us and acted like she should have known she can’t bring them. She tried to explain every place’s policy is different and they should have mentioned that in the confirmation email.

In the past I have gone to several of them. She had several over the years. She had problems with cyst. She eventually had full hysterectomy

My partner Laura and I always have our gyn exams done together. The dear girl is a bit timid at times and prefers I be there for support and, for me, its always a pleasure and an honour.

Yes, I have been to all the pregnancy related Gynecolical exams, 2 before she had our first kid - basically to check out if things were ready and ok. She had an abortion in college previous to this. We had 5 kids together over 15 years. The last one she dared me - that this is the last chance before my vasectomy. 1 month later, we went to the doctor and she was pregnant.

A couple of years later, i started having some medical issues myself, and we eventually divorced. But lived in the same house for another 4 years after the divorce because of the financial situations. But, about 6 month before the divorce was final, she had started dating, and had gotten pregnant again. She wanted to keep it, and I ended up going to the exam, because she knew i would provide some support as i had done when we were married. Its quite a thing, when you go to that, and know it's not your kid. After we had separate house holds again, she got pregnant by another guy, and asked if i would go to that one. At the time, i could not.

@Silvfox -

"...she always answered any of my follow-up questions while I preformed a second exam at home."

I never went to any of my wife's checkups either and I'm sure I would have been refused. But when she got home she told me the whole story - while I lay on the bed and masturbated.
