How does a milk enema feel different from a water enema?

I've never tried a milk enema before. I'm curious, but I'd also like to know a little bit about what to expect. Any advice/experiences from veterans is appreciated.

You would get a little gas from the lactose in the milk. If you add more sugar in some form you would get more gas and more urgency. Milk and treacle (or molasses) is a traditional enema recipe, but the contribution of the milk then becomes negligible except to thin down the treacle so that it can flow through the tubing.

Enema sites include milk enemas and I have always wondered what is so special about milk enemas. Is it for visual effect? Or something else. Then there is thr question of what milk. Whole milk, skim, or half and half or perhaps butt- ermilk?

I wouldn’t expect it to make much difference except in the case of lactose-free milk, which would be quite inactive. For what it’s worth, skim milk is a little higher in lactose than whole milk, because the fat content has been removed.

I would that the visual effect is a priority here. They were considered to be better for infants and young children, obviously because of their diet. I would vote against because of protein and sugar content. Also allergies to be considered....but...yes...it looks good when it fountains out....

Milk and molasses is actually meaningfully different from water. It causes a lot of gas which can manifest as cramping or gurgling/stomach flushing feeling. For me less urgency than a soapy enema unless I use too much molasses. Expulsion after significant retention (~20 minutes can be manageably forceful, I’d recommend being prepared to clean your toilet seat and bowl rim before taking it.

Very enjoyable. I prefer low lactose and add something that can increase the density of the liquid. To me its really pleasurable both inflowing and out

I'd you're into crampy enema maybe my experience will inform. Some years ago, I was into a stage of experimenting with enema solutions. I'd always been into large volumes and taken or given about much as a human colon can hold. I found a huge variability in that range. So, with variability in mind, I set out to try the usual recipes and anything else that wouldn't likely require emergent intervention. It was inevitable that I'd get around to the Milk & molasses recipe. And so a Friday evening saw me setting up for my first go at it. Because I'm a volume freak, I way over estimated what would be a good experience and warmed up a 3 quart 50/50 mix of whole milk and dark molasses. This I attached to a mid range colon tube and settled on the vinyl air mattress in my shower. I got the tube in its expected position near the turn down to feed my ascending colon without exciting my lower segments. I like my enemas slow but for some stupid reason thought I'd do this fast. It took less than 3 minutes for the bag to flood me. I was feeling good for about five minutes when the cramps hit. Like nothing I had ever experienced in my 50+ years of serious enema play. Locked up cramps that didn't come in waves and dissipate but hard, charley horse cramps. Shouldn't say cramps, it was one big cramp! Like my entire colon just turned itself into a boa constrictor and tried to go crazy! It gave no quarter, no easing, minutes passed and it just got harder. I tried to expel but I was locked up! Apparently the 3 quarts was positioned trapped in between two strong muscles now working against each other. The m&m was happily doing what this enema does what is to produce gas, and a lot of it. And it was trying to kill me! In desperation, I did the only thing I could do which was to try and flush it out with plain water. I have a hose permanently connected in this shower to allow a convenient flush so I connected the colon tube that was already inside me to the water supply and opened the valve to a slow flow. At first all that did was to increase my pain and bloating but eventually the water forced its way through so that I could begin to evacuate the diluted m&m. I laid like that for a long time, increasing the flow as the cramp and the gas was forced to exit. So play with fire enough, you'll get burned. Milk by itself might be ok but it will produce gas, maybe not so much but still...
