Explicitly Demonstrated Colon Hydrotherapy Session

I found this rather explicitly demonstrated colonic video on YouTube. It was created by the Spanish colon hydrotherapy machine manufacturer Transcom. The therapist in this video follows a similar procedure for giving colonics as I was taught, which includes a rectal exam. Most therapist don't give rectal exams, but I prefer to for the reasons of safety and comfort for the client. A rectal exam doesn't hurt, but it's useful in checking for internal hemorrhoids, fissures, and swollen prostate with male clients. It also lubricates the rectum so the speculum goes in much more comfortably.

@Nurse_Nikki It was more "explicitly demonstrated" than others I've seen. I visited a colon hydrotherapist in my area a few years ago for about 10 sessions. She told me that her training did not allow rectals and the client self inserted the speculum. I found the therapy helpful in making me feel more energetic but was disappointed she didn't didn't do the rectal and insertion like nurses did with hospital enemas. That's because I'm anal erotic.LOL Have you found some of your clients getting aroused from your therapy? The lady I saw told me about a male therapist who she thought was unethical because he only treated women and gave them rectals. She predicted he would be eventually charged with sexual assault for his sexually motivated intrusions. I thought of that when I saw the guy in the video doing the rather thorough rectal on the lady. How do you keep the sexual aspect out of what is meant to be purely therapeutic ?

Very interesting. One of the therapists that I visited in San Diego also gave rectal exams, but only at the initial visit. She also gave enemas (probably only to clients she trusted) prior to the colonic. I found the enema to be really helpful. She was one of the few who would do a "double session" if you paid additional money. She was the best therapist I found there.

@ronniwater......I believe in the State of California, the law is that clients are required to do their own insertion. I find this kind of useless since it's a lot easier for the therapist to handle the two piece speculum more safely. It's not like I haven't done rectal insertions, I've probably done thousands without injuring a hospital patient or client a single time. As for my male clients getting sexually aroused, I'm sure it has happened more than once. But most of my male clients adhere to the code of conduct for this type of service. I know that sometimes it's unavoidable for male clients to get an involuntary erection when the speculum is inserted. Speculums are about 1" in diameter, inserted typically about 2- 1/2" - 3", so there's going to be some pressure on the prostate. For most clients, even men, after the speculum has been inserted for several minutes, the internal sphincter relaxes and you lose awareness somewhat of having something inserted rectally.

@Nurse_Nikki I have been to quite a few colon hydrotherapists, & I've only had one where I didn't enjoy the experience. I appreciate a careful rectal exam, for two reasons. If I'm constipated, it gives the therapist a better understanding of her job. Secondly, as you mentioned, there is the lubrication. I prefer the operator to insert the speculum, because she can better tell the proper depth, and there is a certain enjoyable part of that insertion. Also, if I was a therapist myself, I would be pretty guarded around males, because most men, if they're straight, seem to choose a female.

I would say I enjoy the entire colonic experience, particularly the passivity in having the water circulated around. It's efficient. However, I much prefer a thorough series of enemas, even though less efficient. The "feel different" to me. I have often wished for a true reciprocal experience, but I've not ever really had that. I personally believe that if one has a partner, it should work both ways. A good enema is truly a gift under all circumstances.

Sounds weird, I know, but the cleansing exceeds any other feeling I've ever had. That EMPTINESS!! YAY!! Giving is incredibly erotic to me, as well, which, if you've read what I write, you already know.
