I'm 62. As a kid, I had my regular pediatrician. once with another covering, ENT (ear tubes and tonsils) Eye doctor, podiatrist (Foot problems when I was young) Eye doctor (glasses since age 4) an allergist. (At 10, I broke out in hives and eyes swelled after Dad mowed the grass, and we didn't know what it was) A few times into the ER for stuff.
After 18, I can't count. I was in the Navy for 10 years, so saw a number of different doctors for a number of different things, then VA for close to 30 years Mostly Residents and NPs, plus 2 gastroenterologists (one for colostomy every 5 years, one for fatty liver) my shrink (Seen her for about 30 years now) plus eyes and dentists. I still see a few at VA but now have a PCP closer to home.
Since the new PCP, I have seen her, (although she is leaving, so I'm getting a new one) 2 urologists, 2 neurologists, cardiologist, (Will probably get an outside VA one) and a non-VA gastroenterologist for colostomy. I will be seeing another outside GI because my VA liver doc wants an endoscopy, and a podiatrist. as well as a couple trips to the ER. (Last one was for pancreatitis caused by Covid the day after lockdown)
I think that's about all of them.
