Things you have heard while waiting for Doctor to enter room?

What are some things you have overheard while waiting for the doctor or nurse to enter the room?

For me, any noise seems so amplified in that room, the crinkle of the paper, any movement of the table; but as far as things I have overheard, I would say maybe the doctor telling a nurse room X is ready for an injection or EKG. Nothing to exciting and the chance to think about what I may have just heard quickly goes away because the doctor walks in.

Only one time have I heard something that got my attention while waiting for the doctor. The nurse had left me sitting on the exam table after she was done with my vitals. A few minutes after she walked out and closed the door I heard the doctor in the exam room next to the one I was in. It was a very old building and apparently not much sound proofing in the interior walls. I could hear him very plainly telling his patient that his prostate was slightly enlarged. I sat there thinking about what I was hearing. As I sat there hearing the doctor telling the patient about his prostate I started thinking about the patient with his pants down getting a rectal exam. I sat on the exam table thinking about what I was hearing and began immediately wondering if I was going to be getting that done to me.

I've overheard exams going on in the next room over at a previous provider's office. Including, once, the "turn your head and cough" portion. I couldn't hear the patient, though.

I went to a small high school and each year the school would take all male athletes in a school bus to a neighbouring town for our sports physicals. I was a freshman and it was my first experience going as a group. I remember sitting in the exam room clad in only my underwear, waiting for the doctor to come in. I could hear muffled talk in the exam room next to me, then I heard one of my classmates cough twice very loud. That both excited me and scared me because I knew I would be next. ALWAYS wondered who was in the room next to me. I had plenty of fantasies thinking about who it could have been. Can't tell you how many times I jerked off later thinking about it. At one point I finely realising ALL of us took our turns with "drop your shorts" getting our balls examined, than "turn your had and give me a cough". My best friend Brad had the biggest dick and ball in the entire school, even one of the coaches would joke and commit about his size. I still to this day fantasize about giving him a more than thorough sports physical.
