I need size recommendations for the Squarepeg Slink

I recently bought an XL bad dragon that is a bit far out of my depth range so I've been looking at getting into depth play.

I'm looking at getting a slink to start and not sure what size to get. I'm between a medium/large and really stuck on making the final decision. I know it would be safer to start with a medium but I've seen a few people say they've hilted their mediums in the first week. That makes me want to size up and just work into the toy. I haven't been successful with depth play with less ideal toys but I've taken plugs around 9" in circumference.

Get the large in the tapered version and you will be happier!

That is where I want to go, it's just so nerve racking buying a 20"+ toy when I'm currently maxed at 7"
