Hmmm Hospital stuff eh? Here is a lovely for you, nothing, oh my cutesie poo tee hee hee either.
I was imprisoned in the hospital for a severe infection for three days. I was extremely dehydrated and very weak my kidneys were shutting down, still pooping out copious amounts of foul waste from the infection I was put in a room that looked like a janitor's office they had put a bed in. There was a big window in the door. People walked by, and anyone could look in. The worst part was I was too weak to get up on my own at first. I had to buzz for help; three attendants, a mix of males and females, not nurses, mind you, would come in and help me sit up. I was naked from the waist down. Help me off the bed to a commode chair where I would do my business, then help me up, bend me over hands on the bed to spray my bottom, legs, and pisser with water less cleanser, wipe me off. I was in full view through that window. It was humiliating. I felt sorry for the ones wiping me. Terrible job.
When I was stronger, I sat on the edge of the bed during the day. One of the resident doctors on my case came in and said cover yourself up down there. I said sorry I didn't mean to offend anyone. She said no, you haven't, I'm telling you for your sake. I was sitting with my legs spread on the bed. Sitting up is a sign of strength. I put a sheet over me. I was being ogled like a peep show, looking at my naked, spread open snatch.
I fought so hard to strengthen myself, force myself to move, get up, walk around the room with a cane, get on and off the commode by myself. They insisted on the wiping part till the time I left. I was not allowed to go to the commode on my own. Demanded to be released constantley made myself a pest.
How did I feel? Disgusted and determined to get out. How did they feel? I don't know. A little frightened, I was pushing myself, not just lying there feeling sorry for myself. That was not expected. I was doing sit-ups and stretches on the bed. They watched me in there, alright.
I went on an evaluation walk. On my walk, I discovered the window of my cell was viewable down the main ward aisle. I could see to the bottom of the bed and the floor! I was putting on a bum and snatch show for the whole population of the ward. Monkey in a cage.
They semi-fixed me up and saved my bacon. Can't fault that. My GP took care of the rest.
All it cost was the Ambulance charge and my dignity.
I was out in three days, a day or more earlier than expected. Hausa!
I had a friend go through the same experience. It even sounded like the same cell. He is older and far more aggressive. They bounced him out in a hurry. It was either back home or a care facility for him. He made it home. Drove them up the wall to get out. Must of made me look like a kitten.
