How Common Are Enemas

I notice a lot of users on here describing enemas and suppositories being given fairly routinely especially in USA. Here in the UK I don't think I have ever met somebody who had received them. Is this actually the case in other Countries?

I, being a product of the 50s here in the US, I can only state what I received and saw growing up.

I occasionally received an enema for stomach aches and constipation. After becoming anal erotic at a young age, I did a lot of snooping at friends and relatives bathroom cupboards, almost every one had some form of enema equipment. Everyone with kids my age had a bulb syringe stored away in a

corner of the cabinate somewhere.

Im in the UK and I love being given suppositories and enemas.
