Ladies — Exposure at exam as you get older

I’ve noticed over the years that my wife seems less and less concerned about her gown being partially open as the years have passed. She used to pull it tightly against her years ago and now it’s just hanging there, untied with her breasts exposed throughout the exam. Her nipples occasionally are visible as she moves but they are mostly covered. Is this just because she’s older and is less bothered by nudity? Are you the same?

I’m not old. But I think that should be the reason. When you are exposed to the same setting over and over based on how you take it your embarrassment and stuff could change over time. Plus she might feel like there nothing to specifically hide or be shy about. I’ve never got over that feeling, in fact I’ve never even gone to a that kind of a check for the 23 years of my life. One huge reason in fact is that I’m shy.

But it’s probable could be for various normal reasons. You can just ask her. I’m sure she won’t mind.

Thank you, Liney. I’ve mentioned it to her after the last two or three pcp visits and she just shrugs it off without giving or implying an answer. We’ve been to the same pcp for 30 or so years.
