Back in August, I felt a little knob on one of my testicles.
Needless to say, it had me rather concerned because of the obvious, possible cause. So I booked an appointment with my new GP, a kind lady in her 50's.
I was called in, and was offered to take a seat.
So I explained my reason for the consult.
She told me she would have to take a look.
I expected to be told to just drop my pants and stand, while she would perform the exam by sitting in front of me.
But no. She pointed to a rather classic looking exam table (with a paper sheet on) and told me to take my jeans and underwear off, and lay down on my back.
Even if I was rather worried about that little lump, I was pleasantly surprised by this (it gave me slight butterflies in my stomach).
She told me to spread my legs a bit, and without gloves, she pushed my penis up, to have better access to my scrotum.
She asked me on what side the lump was (it was on my right testicle), and began with having a good feel around. Her grip was very gentle, and after what must have been almost a minute, she said she could not find it. I reached down to check myself, and I pointed her to the spot.
After a few seconds of careful rolling and squeezing, she told me that it probably was a cyst, and I did not have to worry too much about it. But I would have to keep an eye (or finger) on it to see if it would get bigger, or change in texture.
She asked me if there were other lumps or spots, to which I answered 'no'.
But she made sure to check my other testicle as well.
This was a very pleasant experience, I have to say. No, I did not get aroused when she was palpating my genitals, but I did enjoy the sensation quite a lot 😃
