Partners of medical professionals?

Hi y'all, I'm a long term lurker and very occasional commentor, but first time poster. Love this community. My question - are any of you in relationships with medical professionals and has this changed your relationship with cardiophilia? I would describe myself as a cardiophile through and through (not that I've ever disclosed this to a parnter), but since entering into my current relationship it's taken on an unexpected dimension. My husband, a medical professional, is a cardiophile's dream - he comments often on being able to feel my heartbeat when cuddleing and other things. I don't think there is a sexual element to it, just an intellectual appreciation because of his career (still fine). However, rather than being able to enjoy it, I am very self conscious because it now has a real element to it. What if they notice something is wrong? This is a bit of a fear - as a young, slim female I never get examined properly. The most I've had in years is a 5 second auscultation in one place over my clothes (the cardiologist didn't even pick up his stethoscope during my visit) so I wouldn't have a clue if something was actually wrong. Any tips on how to get over this? I'd like to try and enjoy and indulge my husband's (and my own) interest, rather than pulling away or being weird.

@doctorswife Are you asking how to deal with examinations by medical professionals that may trigger your specific interest? I myself have a fetish for intimate examinations and my observation from the few times I've been intimately examined is that the examination is quick, and maybe comes as a surprise, and that I don't have to think too much while it takes place (I just look elsewhere). It is later, when reminiscing, that it takes more dimension. So I don't think any medical professional noticed anything weird.
