Twice that stick out. (Bear with me. It requires a bit of explaining)
Before I was med-boarded out of the Navy, I was hospitalized for suicidal ideations and generalized anxiety. When I got to the ward, obviously, I was on suicide watch. They put me in a room the staff could see me from the nurses' station, but other patients couldn't see me. They had me strip, completely, and I was naked all night. The next morning, they gave me a robe, and the doctor came in and took me to an exam room. First, he did a physical. He had me slip out of the robe and did height, weight, and vitals, then gave me the most thorough exam I had had in years (and that's saying something in the Navy, where every exam is thorough), including checking my gait inflexibility. When he was through, he had me put the robe on and we talked. (and talked, and talked...) He brought me back to the room and I was brought PJ's and moved to a regular room. (The rest is another story for another time.)
The second time, I started at the VA. I was still seeing Psych, and was asked if I wanted to join a study for a new anti-anxiety med. I was introduced to the doctor doing the study (I still see her 30 years later) she explained the procedure, then had me completely strip and did a thorough physical (All the same tests minus the DRE) Naturally, it started with height and weight.
There may have been other times, but those two stick out in my head.
