Morning Rectal Temps

Hi all!

Every morning, my bottom takes the thermometer for about 10-15 minutes and then another thermometer in my bottom immediately follows to check for accuracy and to compare. I administer the temps myself as I do not have anyone to assist. Does anyone else do the same on a daily basis? While taking the thermometer, I am on my stomach or couch. What are your morning procedures and do you have someone assisting? How long does your bottom hold thermometer each time before removing?

I am a 72 years old French retired lawyer and I enjoyed a lot your post about your rectal temperature routine.

I have had a strong rectal temperature fetish thoughout my life and most of my girlfriends have shared this strange addiction.

In my late twenties, I had a long standing relation with a smart language student who was very much into medfet. She had set the rule that, every time we were to have sex, she would impose on me a comprehensive medical exam. This mock exam allways ended with her taking my rectal temperature on her lap. I was in Heaven.

More recently, for several years, I had a strong relation with a ladyfriend who was as much into rectal temperature as s myself. When the Covid erupted, she insisted on moving with me in my place, pretending to take care of me, at risk with the virus, due to my age. She then decided that we would take eachover's rectal temperature on our lap, every day, first thing in the morning. This morning routine, keeping the thermometer inserted for 10 to 15 minutes, often turned into sex preliminaries.

My girlfriend dumped me 3 years ago and since then I have been alone to take my temperature. It is less fun than having someone do it for you. I take my rectal temperature about once a week. Keeping the thermometer inserted 10 to 15 minutes, I close my eyes and try to remember the good memories of my various rectal temperature sessions.

As a matter of facts, I have come to consider rectal temperature taking as a way of making love, and a very intimate one. Of course, it has to be recioprocal, you take my temperature, I take yours.

Before I was married, I took my temperature rectally every morning and every night. Because my wife gives me flack about it, and the fact that she’s always home before I leave for work, my temperature taking pleasures are barely once a week . And she always adds that no normal adult takes their temperature rectally, and that I need to get some psychological help.

My morning routines on working days (when my partner gets up first) is to take my rectal temperature after waking up. I insert a Geratherm Basal glass thermometer for 5 minutes while laying on my side. My temp is usually around 36,4 C / 97,5 F.

I take my temp while shaving, many times, this is while standing up in the bathroom. 🌡🧴️🧻️

Laura41, I take mine every morning when I wake up. I have 2 thermometers that I check with, one after another, then record the average temperature of the 2. The I also take my BP, and Pulse Ox and record those numbers too.

I also do the same thing at night just before going to bed. At night sometimes I have to be a little more careful, as I have on several occasions fallen asleep with the thermometer deeply inserted.

Actually started taking mine a while back before I go to work

At 9:40 AM today, 11/12 I had a Red Flash glass mercury thermometer up my rectum getting my temperature taken. Held in place by a warm hand across my buttocks between two of her fingers. Was good as the instrument started to come out but got tapped back in.

The woman was my massage therapist a lovely mature late 30s lady.

I thought she might balk, as I asked directly if she would take my temperature before the massage. All she said was she needed gloves. Have them, gave her the box, she took a pair out.

As I laid face down on the table she lowered my briefs. She took the thermometer ( obviously no stranger to glass types) held it up, read it shook it down read it again then dipped it in a jar of Vaseline.

Seconds later her fingers spread my cheeks and slowly pushed the bulb against my anus then slipped it into my rectum for five minutes.

I looked at the wall clock…9:40 AM. After 5 mins. she removed the thermometer. Wiped it off, said my temperature was 98.8F.

She also gave an awesome massage too!
