Oral Sex and Me (Us)

From all that I have read here in zity , I am defintitely in the minority, as my husband and I are simply not into oral sex in any fashion. A long time ago, we coined a phrase, "If it is where you poo and pee, it's not for me." Why I respect how others feel, I think our feeling is that since we still are into a lot of kissing (including french kissing) during foreplay, neither of us could ever get past the fact that our mouths had been in the "down below" even though we get rid of all the pubic hair (which would be ewww to me) and keep ourselves clean both the front and back doors prior to sex, I just cannot bring myself to indulge in the oral thingy in any type of fashion. Fortunately, my husband totally shares my view as well. I wonder if we are the "lone rangers" on our feelings about oral sex and would appreciate your views and comments both for and against oral sex. Hopefully some females will respond too. Denise

All acts called " sexual" between consenting adults are intimate and personal to the people involved. The actions cannot be called " good" or " bad" when the two people involved enjoy them, and the acts contribute to their successfully achieving a climax. The result is both people feel satisfaction from their own sensations, and those they created in their companion. If that is accomplished, the sex between them was good.

Personally, I am a huge lover of oral sex, both giving and receiving! Have been so since mid teens! But I do respect a partner that does not. Always seeking someone that always enjoys the pleasures!

Have always been a fan of oral sex since I was introduced to it during my time in the navy Now that I am occasionally smitten with ED due to diabetes, it is sometimes the only way I can orgasm with a partner, so I thank goodness I enjoy it so much.

The other side of the coin if you will, is that I really enjoy performing oral sex on my partners and the obvious enjoyment they get from it, if they are into it.

I have come across only a few ladies who didn't enjoy it. Some in my earlier days perhaps because of my lack of expertise. Or maybe some were like @Denise and her husband and couldn't get over the hygienic aspect of it. It was something I never pushed if they weren't in to it, other than asking them to at least try it once. Some tried and didn't like it, and that was fair enough. There were one or two others who did say afterwards " I didn't realize what I was missing" 😃

There were even one or two who enjoyed giving, but not receiving. Always felt a little bit selfish knowing the pleasure I was getting, but not being able to return the favour.

This was just going to be a short answer. Got a bit carried away (As you do with things you enjoy. 😃 )

I can enjoy oral sex for extended periods, whether giving or receiving.
