Has anyone get a suppository at school before ?

Any one has past experience ??

Sometimes for nausea, but not regularly. Suppositories were used before school (morning administration) for certain hyperactivity problems.

I did not get any at school but before going to school a few times.

My mother inserted it before going to school.

Sometimes the suppository melted and I felt my butt honeyed during class.

Never at school, but if my Mom had given me a dose of laxative at bedtime and it didn't make me go as soon as I woke up in the morning, she'd give me a suppository to help the laxative work and occasionally a hot soapsuds enema if the suppository didn't work to make me go. If that was a school day I'd head off to school and often have to make an urgent trip to the washroom several times through the day as the laxative continued to work on me.

I sometimes got suppositories after school rather than enema, but not before school. But these suppositories were the laxative not the pain medication ones. I do find it interesting though way parent would want to give a child a laxative suppository before sending them school because I would think you might be setting them for a potential and embarrassing accident if they were delayed in getting to girls or boys bathroom.

I would also think that rather than have the school nurse administer a suppository would be something a parent would want to do themselves. The only time I saw the school nurse was in the second grade and I felt sick. She did take my temperature and it was done rectally before she called my mom to come and get me. I actually was coming down with the chicken pox and a slight fever. There was no medication given to me by the school nurse.

I went to school from '79 to '93. Never did I get one. For those that got them before school, it makes me think I never had to. I had a bus ride that was just over an hour long.
