Just curious what kind of underwear guys had to wear for your exams

I always had to strip to mine for my exams and I wore briefs until about high school when I started wearing boxer briefs.

When I was growing up I always wore tighty Whities. I had to strip to them at the doctors office.

When I was that age it started as white briefs (fruit of the loom I think) and graduated to colored briefs and then eventually boxers when I graduated high school. Back in the 80s I don’t think there was as much variety as we see now with youth underwear.

Growing up I wore white briefs to my exams

Not that I wore something special for exams. Just what I wore every day and that was long and loose black boxers - universal underwear for boys in my country at that time.

I wore white cotton Y fronts. Had to strip down to them before the start of the examination.

I wore briefs (in a variety of colours) in my exams at the doctors until I was 9/10, then boxers. At high school I tended to wear designer boxers briefs, as I could get designer stuff dirt cheap from TK Maxx with the money off my paper round.

Briefs in various colors (white, light blue burgundy, hunter green are some I remember) until late high school when I started wearing some basic boxers.

Mum always made me wear white briefs for exams at the doctor up to about age 11. For the next few years after that, it was usually woven boxers with a checkered pattern. Later in my teens, I started wearing CK jersey boxers - the classic ones with the button fly - in black, grey or white but I would usually wear the white ones for exams. I remember a few occasions when I had to tuck my boner under the waistband after the doctor had examined me.

Always white briefs as a child. I switched to boxers in college and now wear boxer briefs to exams.

Boxer briefs for as long as I can remember. Solid dark blue or black. I used to wear standard cotton but now I wear athletic performance microfiber boxer briefs. Specifically Reebok, New Balance or Puma.

When I was 10 and Younger I would wear tighty whiteies or tighty whiteies with like designs on them, but once I got into my teens I would wear boxer briefs.

I always wore briefs. I didn't start wearing boxers and boxer briefs until I was at college at started buying my own stuff. I probably could have asked for different underwear as a kid because I knew was the odd man out in the locker room except for about two other people, but never did.

I always wore the underwear I got on Christmas from my grandmother. She always gave me white briefs.

When younger, I wore whatever was popular for my age group at the time, which varied from year to year. However, about college age, I switched over exclusively to wearing boxer briefs for exams, and always in black to better hide the inevitable precum wet stains that I would always have when going for exams. Still always wear black boxer briefs even today for exams for those very same reasons.

My exams were pretty much always on my birthday, unless that fell on a weekend, and every birthday I'd wake up to a new pair of underwear hanging on the chair at my desk in my bedroom. Mom always bought the same thing -- Hanes boys plain white briefs. It never occurred to me to ask for anything else. Back then, as soon as we got to the exam room, the nurse would tell my mom that I should be wearing only my underpants when she came back to weigh me on the scale down the hall. By the time I was 15, I was wearing boys size Large but still was a late bloomer, so boys undies weren't totally ridiculous. However, at 16, even though my waist size hadn't increased, I finally had caught up development-wise and was bulging out of the undies. I was totally oblivious to that, though, and it was only after the nurse had led me down the hall for height and weight in nothing but those very-tighty-whities, and we were waiting for the doctor, that my mom commented that these new undies were too small. She checked the label to be sure she hadn't accidentally bought Medium, but when she saw that they indeed were Large, she said she'd buy me some XL. Not sure if it was because she couldn't find XL (which would have been the same waist size as mens Small), or because after the genital exam, the doctor just barely got my erection back into my undies, but a day or two later, a couple of packs of mens size Medium Hanes white briefs were waiting for me when I got home.

I imagine at some point early on I was wearing a diaper but I do not remember that far back.

Initially I wore what 99% of boys back then (1960s) wore, white briefs.

I think around 7th grade I started to wear boxer shorts, also white. They just appeared in my underwear drawer one day, probably because my dad wore boxer shorts.

With my pediatrician, birth through 12th grade, all exams were done in just my briefs or boxer shorts, and not just physical exams. Anytime I walked into the doctor's office for anything I had to strip down to my underpants.

Towncraft tighty whities were all my parents bought for my brother & I. My aunt worked at the store so they got a discount. Our gruff doctor rarely had me undress to briefs, if ever. Mom and Dad didn’t want to see me without clothes on. It fucked me up.

As a kid, I wore white briefs because that's what my mom bought me. I wore white briefs until going to college and seeing what my hot college roommate wore -- bikini briefs (no joking).

I got some of those, but never wore them to an exam. I had a physical toward the end of my freshman year in college, and I took out the white briefs for those. The small clinic was near a medical school, and the very young doctor was nervous and so was I. He stayed in the room while I disrobed bit by bit as the exam progressed, till I was wearing nothing but the white briefs. He slid them to my knees. My penis was shriveled but I remember my balls were hanging nicely. I was about to turn 19.

I switched to boxers sometime after college. But when I had a physical when I was 24, for some reason I brought out the white briefs. The medical assistant made me strip to the briefs and have a seat on the exam table to wait for the doctor.

I can't recall what I wore to my next physical a few years later. By my 30s, I wore boxer briefs or occasionally sports briefs ... but it didn't matter because the clinics I went to through my early 50s made me strip all the way and put on a gown. I made sure to place my underwear on top of my clothes, so the doctor would see that I followed directions when he entered the room.

There was one exception to that, during a physical I have written about before. For my physical with my second DRE, I could tell the doctor was somewhat into me. He met me in the exam room completely dressed and did not step out after he told me to get undressed. He watched me get undressed. I distinctly remember wearing fairly tight-fitting black boxer-briefs. I recall standing in front of him and contemplating whether I should slide them off, or at least ask whether they needed to come off. But I just had a seat on the exam table in my black boxer-briefs. I wish I would've just taken them all the way off, because my previous physical with him had me naked under the gown.

Had one more physical with him, when I was stripped and wore only a gown. Then he retired. Damn.

Being a kid in the 70's and early 80's I wore white briefs as did every friend I had and just about all the guys I shared a floor with in college. Mom bought me Sears briefs when I was younger but she bought me Hanes after I went through puberty at age 10. So...those are the briefs I wore when I went to the doctor.

Briefs were the only option available until a certain age, there was the classic white ones which I wore and then packs of coloured ones I wore, some with strips too but white briefs was most common.

Like every kid in the 1970's and 80's we had a regular Fruit of the Loom and or Hanes basic "tidy whites". Later in the 1980's "colored" briefs made their appearance. I never wore boxers until the boxer briefs made there appearance. I wear slim boxer briefs today with various colors and patterns.

Boxers or boxer briefs as a teenager. Shirt would be off from basically the beginning of the exam and I would be asked to pull down my pants and “shorts” while lying down after the abdominal exam. I would pull them down to mid thigh and then be examined including hernia while lying down
