Are pantyhose ever coming back in style?

I know how fashion comes back around after a certain amount of time. I sometimes wonder if pantyhose will also! I love to see a woman in a skirt or dress wearing pantyhose!

Over the past several years I have known many women that wear pantyhose while at work, especially in air-conditioned offices. Of course, most of these women were older, it seems like the younger generations do not want to look their best when out in public, it is too much work. I also like the look of a woman wearing pantyhose.

I think it may be more about comfort, rather than not caring about how they look. Pantyhose have always struck me as being so restrictive, not to mention a pain to get your hands inside and sample the goods.

Always will like the look of stockings and garter belts. If not, then bare legs.

Whether they do or not, it's still sexy !

I'm afraid it is gone except in rare circumstances. In my teens women/girls all wore panty girdles. Earlier corsets were widely worn and disappeared. You can continue to dream like it do but if I'm serious I'm afraid, they are gone.

Black tights do look and feel great!

Pantyhose, (or tights as we call them in the uk) have never gone out of style. I wear them a lot , mostly in winter I guess, but a lot of outfits look so much better with tights. And shorter skirts or dresses can be worn in colder months with tights too.

Not that I am an expert in this area, but I had a strong impression that it was other way round, tights (in UK) or pantyhose (in US) were replacing stockings in day to day use.

And stockings becoming something special and sexy and to be worn on special occasions.

From a male perspective - They do seem to have gone out of fashion somewhat except for more formal occasions. I started girl chasing in the mid 1960's when nylons and garter belts were just coming to the end of their lifecycle. It was awesome to stroke a bit of bare leg, work my way to the edge of the panties (knickers in my native UK) and sneak a finger inside.

Then came pantyhose (tights in UK) - affectionally known as "Passion Killers" to us late teen lads. It was now so much harder to sneak a finger into the cunt.

But times move on and stroking a pantyhose clad thigh is still something to get an erection over. My wife used to pose for me in pantyhose with dress lifted from front or rear and it was a sight to behold. Then if I asked nicely (actually it was begging and pleading) she would wear pantyhose minus the panties underneath. The pantyhose had to be the sheer type without the awful white patch between the legs. I'd get her to stand and then lie on the bed with legs spread. Lots of semen has been shot at times like that.

I'm not fashion expert (I'm often reminded of it when getting dressed to go out!) but I do wonder if the mother wears them the daughter's then so the same. If the they don't the daughter's don't or it might be a generational thing that skips some generations.

As a leg man, I love the look of an attractive woman in pantyhose or stockings. It's unfortunate many woman keep their legs bare when wearing skirts or dresses, even in the winter. I've felt like asking some of them, "Don't your legs get cold?"

Anyway, I remember as a youth in the 70s, department stores like Sears and K-Mart had aisles devoted exclusively to pantyhose because they were that popular. Loved some of the packaging -- a naked woman covering her breasts with her arms while wearing only pantyhose.

On this site, I discovered another enema enthusiast who has never stopped wearing and loving tights, and sometimes stockings with garters. I really enjoy her posts and her photo album.

Liz, our M2F daughter is pretty tall and carrying a good bit of extra self, and she buys all her "legwear" from Snag. I can't ever go back to the stuff I used to wear. Unlike regular pantyhose and tights, they're fully comfortable.

I remember long before the internet, as a young lad, we would get the Sears catalog in the mail. It was thick, and had everything from toys to tools to clothes, and everything in between. When I hit puberty, the women’s section suddenly became way more interesting to me than the toy section!

There were pages of women modeling bras and panties, lingerie, tights, sheer pantyhose, and knee highs and stockings, including thigh tops. I also liked the sections showing women modeling slips, bustiers, girdles, short skirts and tight dresses. That Sears catalog sure got a lot of use!

I think that is where my nylon and lingerie fetish originated. I LOVE seeing women wearing them! I sure hope wearing pantyhose with dresses and skirts comes back into fashion. It seems that eventually everything comes back around to be fashionable again. But for now, it is sad that so few women wear them nowadays.

I am lucky that my wife likes wearing pantyhose, tights or stockings whenever she wears dresses or skirts. And she has crotchless, glossy sheer to the waist pantyhose for “special occasions”, which she wears per my request. She even wears pantyhose or tights under her pants during the winter. She says they help keep her legs warm. In warmer weather, she will wear nylon knee highs with her pants if she is wearing heels or flats. The exception to her wearing nylons is during the heat of the summer. But she will wear lightweight denier stockings to work with her skirt suits and sheath dresses since she says the A/C in the office is a little too cold for her.

At the coffee shop this attractive lady, maybe mid-30s, walked in wearing a red overcoat over a dress. Her legs look so good in shiny somewhat dark tan pantyhose. When she sat down in front of me I saw the dress came above her knees and her legs look even sexier. It really is a shame more women don’t wear skirts with pantyhose these days.
