Supplies, eqyipment arousal

Mo 18 posted a topic about being undressed soon, which generated some interesting responses, some of which includes other items of arousal.

What else generates arousal, anxiety in you, and why?

Since my young adult years, I must admit, even though I am definitely a guy, fixed stirrups in a non gyn office make me anxious, because, to me, it indicates the doc or provider is thorough. The same goes for a speculum soaking after use.

Gloves, especially outside the box, lube and the little card and drop bottle used for the hemoccult are all triggers for me. How about you?

Seeing medical equipment certainly raises my anticipation and if it is related to genital examination arousal too

I have only had this happen once. But watching the nurse lay out the stuff she thought the doctor was going to need made me feel excited and anxious. She laid out a pair of gloves and a small bottle marked SURGILUB. As she left the exam room she said she would let the doctor know I was ready and gave me a small sympathetic smile like she felt bad about what was going to happen to me. I sat there on the exam table listening to my heart thumping in my chest while I anxiously waited for the doctor.
