As a teen who was in the room to watch you undress?

I was just wondering about folks experiences when they were a teenager. Who was in the room while you undressed. parent, nurse, sibling, doctor, or any combination. For me, my mom was always the only one there. the nurse had already left after giving me the instructions to undress. . Fortunately, I could keep my underwear on ...... for now. It was awkward having to set there on the table with only underwear on...and wait for the doctor. mom sometimes made small talk to me.... probably to keep me calm.

For me all undressings were done in the doctor’s office and examination room at the same time with the doctor and nurse present and whoever I was accompanied by (more often mum, rarely grandma and on one occasion dad). While I was undressing the doctor would read my medical notes or write something, and the nurse would watch the process of undressing, sometimes adding comments like ‘pants off too’ or ‘put your clothes onto that chair’.

For me, due to my early puberty, I was only 7 or 8. I would have to undress as soon as I entered the exam room. Mum and doc were there and would be talking about me as if I wasn't even there; while doctor was intensely watching me as I undressed. Very embarrassing.

As a teenager no one other than the doctor was ever in the exam room with me. I never had to undress he would have me lower my pants and underwear so he could look quick to make sure everything was ok then check me for a hernia.

With me, during my follow-up exams for late(r ) start of puberty, I undressed until underwear in a small dressing room. When I entered the doc’s exam room, I most of the times had to take off my underwear quite fast while being alone with e doctor.

In my teenage years I seldom undressed completely, and then the nurse would tell me to strip down to my underwear and left the room. Usually, the doc would simply have me open my shirt front or drop my pants or to see whatever he needed.

Almost always my parents and the nurse who was required by the hospital rules.

The doctor can say that never or almost never,

The feeling of shame is not understood by anyone who has not gone through it. Hoping that if you undress slowly then they'll let you do it alone lol,

I'm sorry, it was a funny moment but if that happened to me, I was hoping that they would allow me to take off my clothes by myself without anyone around but it never happened.

Even as a teen when visiting the doctor my mom was present. She would be waiting with me in the waiting room. Then when the nurse took me back to a room mom was there too. She would watch as I undressed to my underwear for the doctor.

My sister and mother were in the room with me. My sister was also there for her annual physical exam so she had to undress as well. It was definitely embarrassing as we got older. Having to sit there in our underwear waiting for the doctor knowing what was about to happen was unnerving.

My mother sat in on all of my physical exams through the end of high school. Back in those days the most that you wore during a physical exam was your briefs or boxer shorts and they didn't stay on the whole time. I and all of my friends ended up nude with our moms sitting there. I wonder today if doctors liked making teenage boys stand nude in front of their mothers.

At the end of high school my dad took me to his doctor for my pre-college physical and my dad came into the exam room with me just as mom had. Dad told me I had to strip because I was going to get a "man's exam".

I don’t remember going to the doctor for just a physical. We only got taken if we were ill in some way. So mother took either myself and my sister and whoever was ill was examined in front of the other. I only remember usually being bare chested and having my chest auscultated and percussed as most of my illnesses were respiratory issues. Same for my sister, although she used to fold her arms across her chest when she’d taken her top off, the doctor would make her put them to her sides before listening to her chest with the stethoscope. I had a hernia when I was 13, so had to expose my genitals on that occasion and cough on request, that was a bit embarrassing to be honest.

When I went to the GP, it was my mum. For school medicals we had to undress in groups before going in to see the dr and there was a teaching assistant supervising. For exams I was required to have during the summer holidays, my mum.

As a teenager, my mom was in the room with me.

Mom was in the room. It was just one of those things the pediatrician office required. A parent or adult be with you. I guess no big deal you didn’t have much privacy at the Doctor office anyway. I have had my temperature taking with the door open or a curtain not pulled closed. Laying there with a thermometer sticking out of your butt. The nurse talking to my mom. I guess didn’t really think a lot about it . nudity in my home growing up wasn’t that big of a deal.

During my teen years, I was accompanied by my mother. The nurse would leave, but my mom would be there while I undressed and through the exam. I believe I was typically nude with a gown, but maybe just underwear a few times. Most, if not all, ended with me fully nude in front of them and likely an erection.

Up through age 16, my mom was present for my exams, for which I had to take off everything except my underwear. Once I was in just my briefs, the nurse took me to the hallway for height and weight. I don't remember ever being embarrassed. Just cold.

Until how old ? And how much younger was your brother ?

Since I usually went to the doctor with my mother, my mother watched me undress. Unless it was something very important, for example, when I went to the endocrinologist, both my father and mother accompanied me. Only then they saw me both naked. I was just undressing the place to be examined. That was many years ago.

My dad was always present during my physical exams during my teen years. He, and sometimes the nurse, were in the exam room as I undressed. I’m not sure if they watched me, but they were definitely there.

I believe my mom was present through 13, then dad took over for a couple.

Always to briefs, to start, and, of course, in teen, the front aspect of the package.

The doctor alone for me. Regarding anything concerning my exams, this had been the moment when they showed most respect to my privacy. I think the doctor signaled the female nurse to leave, and my mom didn't even consider entering until the doctor sent someone to invite her in (after the genitals part).

With very few exceptions, I had my physicals with one or both brothers, so they would be in the room, and often either my dad or sometimes both parents. The PA who managed everything for the doctor and got us ready would also usually be there.

Late pre teen my step mother and step sister were present for my undressing and exam then as a teen just my stepmother and I stripped to my briefs which was embarrassing but then the pediatrician would remove them with her nurse and my stepmother present until age 16.

After puberty my dad took me most of the time and was always in the room. On some occasions if he was unavailable my mom would come, and I had to endure the extra embarrassment. One or two times my friend’s older brother took me, and he stayed in the room as well.

Until how old ? And how much younger was your brother ?

18 was the last year. My dad started taking us when I was 12. My brother is two years younger, so he would have been 13(me)/11(him) the first time and 18/16 the last time. My brother and I always went together and undressed since we kids, so it wasn't too different than before other than my dad being there.

At my pediatrician as a teen, the nurse would take my vitals while I was fully clothed. Once she was done, she would tell me to undress down to my underwear and have seat on the edge exam table and wait for the doctor. She would leave the room before I would undress. So I was always alone when I undressed.

I remember vividly about 20 years ago I was trying out for the football team, so I went to get a physical. I was 14 at the time. Before puberty my mother would always attend these type of visits but it changed to be my father. I had went into the clinic that was pretty old and low quality, but living like that all my life it was fine. I remember they made me strip down to my underwear in the hallway and step on the scale. But the real kicker was how other children my age were walking down the hallway, and some waiting on the bench getting undressed. Girls had a shirt on though. I remember the boy behind me was pretty large and some people were pointing at him. But after the weighing I was taken to the examination room. In there it was freezing cold, I felt the cold breeze of the ac on my bare chest. The nurse arrived and looked in my ears and the routine stuff. Then it came the part I dreaded, when the female doctor, who was probably a resident (she was very young) came and told me to take my underwear off and put it on the bed. She then touched my testicles to check for bumps and also made me cough to see for hernias. I was layed flat on the bed and she announced to my father that I had some hair growing on my dick and my father was suprised and they chatted about puberty and I was just sitting there in the cold, nude. Eventually they stopped and when the doctor saw me she saw me erect and said, “oh that’s normal for his age.” I was so embarrassed and then she told me to dress up and leave. I remember walking awkwardly down the hallway with a boner showing easily due to my pants and shirt being near the weighing area as my father forgot to take it. Was a reality check for me but it paid off as I played football that year pretty well and did for another year.

Really enjoyed your post … I’m kind of a fan of the whole USA ‘sports physical’ thing as I wish we had them here in England, and I’ve always wanted to try (American) football but sadly we don’t do the sport here in school at any age, so I never got to experience either of these things, let alone being a ‘jock’ about to go into a sports physical and show off a football players body/fitness…

Anyway to stay on topic, by the time I was a teen I went to the doctor on my own as I was confident enough by then and my parents always placed a high trust in medical professionals so they were fine with it, so nobody was ever in the room with me, and back 20 years + ago in England we weren’t quite so concerned with medical professionals examining under-18 boys on their own, so I never had a nurse ‘chaperone’ me or was even offered one, even when I went to the doctor age 16 with a testicle concern (turned out to be an infection and nothing worse) and I was fine with lying on the bed with my pants off letting my doctor examine that part of me. Never had to be right down to my pants as a teen for anything, sadly…the last exam I remember like that was me pre-op check at a hospital when I was 9 and my mum was there for that one. My teenage was so boring medically that it’s no wonder that the kid who got a load in his pants from age 5 at certain types of medical exam resorted to fantasy every night once he learned what his dick could do!

I always went with one or both of my parents. The nurse would show us to a room and tell me to strip down and put the gown on that was typically laying on the table. She would leave for a few moments while I did that but my parents would always be there to see me change.
