Random females witnessing, glimpsing, or watching guys' group physicals.

A fellow Zity poster told me an interesting story. He and his male buddies were clad only in underwear as they headed down the corridor to the nurse's office for their school physical exam. While en route, they passed by a group of girls who happened to be there. The girls all giggled and teased them, but in a friendly and good-natured way.

I read another, older story here on Zity where the guys and gals had their physicals on the same day. They stood in separate lines, wearing either only underwear or swimming gear. The intimate parts of the exam were hidden behind partitions, however.

Do either of these stories ring a bell? Has anyone else here been through anything similar?

Not nearly since such circumstances were to be avoided at all cost. Girls and boys might be seen lined up fully clothed but if any undressing occurred it was always in complete privacy. Maybe some had red faces and a few tears afterward but for common experiences.

It is impossible to say if it was true or not but we must not forget that there could be especially in the recent past a lot of unexpected situtions at school physical examinations or for sport or summer camp

Having received sport's physicals at school in the nurse's office, it was always by same sex and private with team members. Yes we were undressed to our underpants for the exam which was done one at a time but the next person in line, standing in the doorway of the exam room, could see what would soon happen to him. Basically, heart lungs and genitals! No females could see in and we didn't walk to the nurse's office in our underwear. We wore our gym shorts and t-shirt and sneakers. I assume the same was true for girls who went to their scheduled exams often when males were not at PE.

It is obvious that there was no guide lines for sport physicals as regards the set up which was depending on facilities and circumstances, performed at the office of the nurse at school, or in a gym, or a locker room, or any communal facility which seemed appropriate , so even if there was official guide lines, they could not be always respected, too much various situations !

I presume that if some girls classmates could see the boys of their class or an other one undressed it was not intentionally, certainly not a will of the school or medical authorities, but there was so much a disregard of adults towards boy's modesty that in my opinion it could happen seldomly and by chance or bad luck for boys ? it was not considered as a big deal at that time !

My own experience in regards to this topic is somewhat limited as the only "Group Physical" I went through was at a community rec center for "Pop Warner Basketball" and it was all males, ages approximately 13 - 16. No girls were around, not even female nurses :-) There WAS waiting around in a line in your underwear to get into the exam room, & in my case I was brought in to be examined with another male who was older than me (to "save time" was the explanation).

Anyway, there was enough giggling and rude remarks within the line of underwear-clad boys to make up for any lack of giggling girls.

May be you were lucky at least for the fact that thre was no female nurses, not always the same in my opinion

The first case related by "ILuvLady docs" seems to me enough credible ; a school physical took place in the nurse'office and the boys were instructed to strip into underwears in their locker rooms by instructions of the male Pe teacher, and then they headed down the corridor being in line and in underwear to the office supervised by him, and they passed by a group of girls who giggled and teased them when they saw them undressed ! why it would not be possible ,? the reverse was certainly not posible but that situation was credible for me

Many guys relates that when a class of boys had their mandatory school physical examinations, they were often instructed to undress in group before at least in underwears, it could be in a locker room, not anlways situated near the office of the nurse, or it could be on benches in the corridor, but in the two cases they could be exposed to the view of teachers of both genders or to a group of girls walking through the corridor where they waited still undressed or crossing their road from the locker room,

many relates that there was not often a mobile partition put at the entrance of the corridor to avoid anybody to come, it was let free for walking while of course such a partition or any mention " forbidden " was put when it was the day of girls physicals .

why that difference ? because the school authorities did not mind a lot about boy's modesty, it was a different way of thinking than today !

as long as the boys were not naked, it was not a big deal if they were seen in just underwears.

There could be also a mess on the schedule of examinations, either in the nurse'office or in a gym which was also frequent in the past when there was a great number of girls and boys to examin, the girls arrived too soon when the exam of boys was not finished and no teacher told them to wait outside so they saw ome boys undressed or the doctor was in a specific hurry that day, it was necessary to win time, the only possibility was to proceed more quickly with the boys whom modesty was not really a concern for adults, so they might undress all together as a group and be examined without partition while the girls were examined later with partitions and they couls see the end of the exam of the boys when they arrived with some boys still undressed..

I’ve never had that experience before. I wouldn’t mind having some women glimpsing at me these days, but I never heard anyone mention being seen, having a high school physical. I would hope that they were done behind closed doors.

I think that things were different than today until the 80' s, the respect of decency was not a real concern for boys in many countries ans in the medical field

I am really convinced that some accidental exposure to girls classmates could happen during physical examinations if they wxere mandatory and curry out by the school with few concern of boy's modesty because it was the mentalities of that time, especially in the 60's

a boy might be too modest, it was not a manly feeling and even if boys were nerver exposed directly to the view of their classmates it could happen briefly or for a more long time in some circumstances
