Nurse taking my underwear away

I was in the emergency room one time a long time ago for psychiatric and the nurse had me take off my clothes and put on a hospital gown. This didn't surprise me as I had been in the ER for psych before and the nurse had me change in front of him/her.

What I didn't expect was after I had everything off accept my underwear (I'm not sure if I had socks on) she told me to take my underwear off. I asked her why and she didn't answer. Then I saw that she had hospital pajama bottoms for me to put on. So I said to her, "Oh OK because you have bottoms for me to wear."

Now many times I wear underwear under pajama bottoms but sometimes I don't. And I was not and am not sure if people usually wear underwear under pajamas.

So I was thinking it was because she figures that you don't wear underwear under pajama bottoms.

So I slipped my underwear off (I wear boxer shorts) under my hospital gown (they call them johnnies here) and put on the bottoms.

Now I am not sure if she did it because she figured you don't wear underwear with pajama bottoms, however I tend to think that is not the reason.

At a latter time/date at home I fantasized about that hoping she did it because she got a sick thrill out of it. I fantasized about seeing her again and harshly accusing her of doing it to get a sick thrill. "When you had me take my underwear off you did it to degrade and humiliate me! Didn't you!? Did that make you feel good?!" And when she feels ashamed for what she did to me and looks at me with shame and remorse, shock her by saying, "Well I liked that you took my underwear."

I would like some replies as to why people think she did it. Wether she did it to get sexual gratification, to dominate me (I know there are a lot of people that like to exert there dominance over someone). It could be because she thought it was better for cleanliness if I was only wearing the hospital clothes. But I tend to think it was because of wanting to dominate, that she liked the feeling of being in control.

I also recognize that if it is because she is the type of person that likes to dominate, doing it in this type of situation to patients is not really good. Patients should be respected not thought of as people to control and dominate.

She did seem nice though and it was only this odd thing of her taking my underwear instead of just my other clothes that seemed strange. (It is not uncommon for the staff to take away your clothes when you go in for psych.) Does it seem strange to you.

What do you think about her motivation also the way I felt about it? How would you feel? And do you think she was just following protocol or that she felt it was what she should do?

Protocol. Most don’t wear underwear under pajamas. I doubt she had any ulterior motives, just routine.

On case of psych, perhaps they want to be sure you have nothing dangerous in any of your clothing (even underpants)?

I'm thinking about the psychology of the emotions I felt. It's very interesting how the same event can be both unpleasant and pleasurable.

At the time she told me to remove my underwear I didn't want to have to do that because of being more exposed and having to strip them off in front of her. I am not sure when the thought of it became pleasurable.

I think a lot of us who like pain and humiliation find the same experience pleasant and unpleasant. Maybe it's generally unpleasant at the time but pleasant to think about after. Pain causes the body to produce endorphins which feel good. So because of that it makes sense to like pain. Those of us like me that like pain don't like all pain.

Humiliation is another thing and maybe the reason I like it is because it helps me to feel dominated. And feeling dominated can feel good to me because it can help me. The person dominating me can help me to not do what I should not and do what I should. Being restrained in restraints feels nurturing to me. Makes me feel safe, relaxed and cozy.

This is a stretch, but maybe because underwear could possibly used to asphyxiate oneself while you’re under watch? Not sure, but that’s the most practical reason I can think of to remove your underwear as well.

On childrens ward nurses undressed you soon as got to your bed removed all clothing allowed put on pj top but took bottoms away so left bare bottom explaining that need take my rectal temp

When I had my accident on a snowmobile, three nurses in the ER stripped me of my clothes and underwear using heavy scissors. Those girls got me naked as a jaybird in 90 seconds flat. They were attractive too, and I'm thinking..."Okay, you've got me naked, and you might see men's peckers all day long, but I wish you'd cover me up." Another female walked in, I'm assuming a doctor. She started donning gloves and K-Y jelly. With the help of the little redhead that took my boots and socks off, they raised my left knee....lifted my nutsack....and she gave me a rectal exam. It hurt pretty bad because I fractured my hip. She had to check me to see if I was bleeding internally, and they do that rectally. Little redhead also took my temperature up the butt, which at least didn't hurt. They covered me with a sheet and gave me something to fuck me up and kill the pain.

My lesson learned was don't think you're some kind of badass. Because life will humble you. I got humbled in my birthday suit by a few women that could care less how naked I was.

Oh wow that's hot. I would love some hot nurses to strip me naked and take my temperature rectally.

Maybe I am outside the ordinary but I always wear underwear under my pajama bottoms 🤔

From the situation you describe I have to wonder why use the word 'humbled'?

The way I read the description, is that a few women helped you in a case of a medical emergency. And they did it as they were taught and was most expedient to your assessment and diagnosis.

In medical emergencies there is no such thing as modesty for a patient/accident victim.
