Diaper Tapes

Anyone know where I can find some cute diaper tape that I can just print of the computer and tape them on my diaper instead of just buying a roll of diaper tapes?

How about, if you just print what you want, and buy some clear packing tape. Then lay what you've printed on the front of the diaper, cut a bit of the clear tape, and stick it on. ???

I know where. Hope you can find what you want there. www.diapertapes.ch/en/

You can buy a clear A4 sticker, print on it and cut it.

It’s not quite the same, but look into Duck Tape. Its actually “duct tape” but they made dozens of colors and styles. I’m sure they have a web site with all their nifty colors and styles. You might want to check them out.

I was in a Hobby Lobby store and noticed an amazing variety of patterns on duct tape.

To find the tape on the Hobby Lobby website you need to search for “Art project tape”, Also they have decorative shipping tape as well. just search for Shipping tape

I just ran across this on U-tube and remembered this post. Try Crinkle Butt Art. It appears they have many to choose from and may do custom design prints.

Amazon has lots of decorative tapes….

Just a bit off the beaten track, but the suggestion for using duck/duct tape reminded me of the several stories that purport to describe how and why the tape was invented and who done it.

The original duck/duct tape was made of canvas with an aggressive, pressure sensitive adhesive on one side. My favorite origination story has it that it was invented by air frame maintenance crews during WWII and used to quickly and effectively patch bullet holes in the aircraft. There are other stories and all are military related one way or another.

These days the tape is made with polyethylene film (sometimes reinforced, sometimes not) and adhesive, but are not recommended for sealing ductwork. There is a duct tape made with a thin aluminum film and aggressive adhesive that is recommended for sealing ductwork. The adhesive in both eventually dries out when used to seal heating ducts.

Duck tape® is a brand, as is Gorilla tape®. Duct Tape® is a trademark for non-beer alcoholic beverages. Really! Check it on on TESS - https://tmsearch.uspto.gov/bin/gate.exe?f=login&p_lang=english&p_d=trmk Yes, we can use both terms here because we are not using them commercially (in trade).

OK, back to the regularly scheduled thread on diaper tapes.
