Golden Age Memories

I wonder who coined the term "Golden Age." The often-cited period of the 1940s, 50s, and 60s was also marked by economic hardship. Money wasn't exactly plentiful. Did people back then have to resort to enemas to feel better? As a child of the 50s, I certainly didn't see a golden age. My childhood was wonderful, but the enemas of that time were awful.

This is a complicated question. Well, no, the question isn't complicated; the answer is.

I don't believe there's any correlation with money and satisfaction from enemas.

Additionally, I think everybody has a different experience. The very fact that all of us are here says we have some sort of deep seated interestor at least curiosity, whether or not we are consciously aware of that is a complex question.

There's tons of psychological and physiological information about enemas on FetLife. I don't think there's any reason to reinvent all of that but a lot of very smart people with research and psychology backgrounds have posted a great deal about why people of that era tended to like him is more than later times.

My own opinion (and just my opinion) is something I've said here before so I'll be brief. When a parent gave an enema, there was a power issue and a combination of things that felt incredibly good to some people, fear of the pain (I've written about this) and sexual awakening.

So, "golden age" may not be the best descriptor, but I believe the idea of whoever posted it was intended to convey a time when enemas were more open and nearly everyone I knew had them. My playmates and I would talk about enemas endlessly and I had girls at school in junior high that. would talk about them in great length. Mothers would trade notes on them.

People ignored the deep seated stimulation, which was clearly there and just focused on the physical treatment they provided.

I suppose that's enough but if you go searching and use Grok, you will find more information about this than you can possibly keep up with.

And in the end, I guess it doesn't really matter. You like them or you don't. This is not something you debate as to whether or not someone else has a similar experience to your own.

So, there's my two cents worth and I really don't have anything else to say because I've been talking about this for many years and kind of tired of it!

I don't know what the women in our family did when we had family get togethers. The men did watch football. My girl cousin and I would sneak off and give each other enemas while they had their get togethers, we had ours. Lots of fun.
